I have heard many great things about this man. The Devil Rays (no jokes about the Devil Rays sucking please- I know they suck but I still am a fan) commentators state that he is underrated and could be the best pure hitter in baseball right now. From what I have seen when the Rangers come to town I agree. He has a great eye. he can hit for contact and power. He has a textbook swing. Even the commentators mentioned to all of the kids out there learning baseball that Young's swing is the way to go. Ichiro is probably the best contact hitter I have ever seen (George Brett, Wade Boggs, and Tony Gwynn are certainly up there) but his swing is unorthodox. Probably wouldn't make the best hitting coach. Haha. Oh yeah, Pujols is great but I am not a big fan of his style of hitting. But I don't question his consistency and power. Certainly deserves national league MVP.

Other than the Yankees, I really hate the Blue Jays. This is mostly because the Red Sox can never beat Ted frieken Lilly!

I'm kind of sick of it... I really am... I'm not talking about hating eachother's teams... I'm talking about hating eachother... why? What's with all the hatred? I get along with Red Sox fans, well, the ones that are my friend and the ones that are nice. I guess I'm just looking were all the hatred is coming from... why can't we all just get along? I know there are bad Yankee Fans and there are bad Red Sox Fans... but were are all the good Yankee Fans and good Red Sox Fans?

Now I love Coco and think he is going to be great but he has struggled at the plate since coming back, but Wily Mo Pena comes back and hits a 2 RBI double to give us the lead in his first game back. Wily Mo proved an adequate replaement in CF while Coco was gone and now Youk has leadoff covered. Should Coco be worried that Wily the Mo is going to take some of his playing time/

Can you feel the love for the Yankees? What is the problem? I happen to know that statiscally it is not the Red Sox and the Yankees actually have a better D than Sox. The best D is actually another team than these two. So take all that you think you know and can it about the Sox because the Yankees are actually better than they are. Not the best at D, but better on D.

Source(s):

I checked ESPN sports

The Red Sox have the best fielding percentage in the league, which by my knowledge is the only way to check who the best defense is. I do not care what ESPN's non scientific rankings say.

I think they are destroying the sport. Sure thee players are cool and its fun to watch especially if you are from boston.. but the yankees and sox have created so many fans who have NO clue about baseball.. its disgusting. they just jump on the bandwagon and root for those teams who inject money into a program and, well, end up winning a lot. My question really is who thinks that this kind of thing is ruining the game? It seems to be more evident with baseball than any other sport. Please dont think i am bashing the teams it has nothing to do with the players, REAL fans, etc... its the way the programs are run.
