It will come down, once again, to the Red Sox and the Cardinals. My personal opinion is that until the NL figures out a way to stop the AL in interleague play, it will be won by an AL team. Thus, the Red Sox will win it..... hopefully....
Go Sox!

Both the Mets and the Cardinals have some gaping holes in the rotation, so it could come down to which team can score more runs. In that case, I like the Mets to represent the National League because of their combination of speed and power, winning the series in five games.
In the American League, the White Sox are definitely the most complete team, especially if they can pick up a solid right-handed reliever before the trade deadline. They have the pitching to go with their amazing offense, unlike the Red Sox, and the offense to go with their amazing pitching, unlike the Tigers. The White Sox go to the World Series, winning the ALCS in six games.
The American League has won eight straight World Series games thanks to sweeps by Boston and Chicago in the last two years, and it could happen again. It all depends on what the Mets can do before the trade deadline to shore up their pitching staff; if either Pedro or Glavine loses in the World Series, the Mets will be in serious trouble. I like the top of New York's offensive lineup better with Reyes, Lo Duca, Beltran, Wright, and Delgado, but this World Series will be won by pitching, and the White Sox have five playoff-proven starters. I do think Pedro will win his start, but that just means the White Sox will win the series in five games instead of four.

It should be 20 year reunion: Mets vs. Red Sox, what a WS matchup it would be: Martinez vs. Schilling; Delgado vs. Ortiz; Beltran vs. Manny; Beckett vs. Glavine; Wright vs. Lowell .... Once again, the Mets come up victorious ... GO METS!!!!!
