The situation - 1 out, runner on third.
Batter hits fair ball to shortstop and runner on third leaves for home. The ball is thrown by the SS to the catcher to get the runner out. The catcher removes his mask and in an attempt to catch a poorly thrown ball, reaches out with his mask, catches the ball with it, and proceeds to tag the runner with the ball before the runner touches home plate. Is the runner out? Why? Or Why not?

A batter hits a slow roller between 1st and second base. In an attempt to get the ball the firstbaseman stumbles and falls and his cap comes off and the ball lodges in it. He, himself never touches the ball. The secondbaseman picks it up and throw the ball and cap to the pitcher, who is covering 1st base and forces out the batter. Does the play stand as an out or is the batter/runner to be considered safe because the firstbasemans cap struck the ball. What do you think?

I know that everyone is going to look at the team with the worst record (the Royals) but I would have to disagree. The Royals can be dangerous.Last year (in their worst season so far)they swept the Yankees. So what team do you never mind your team playing?

I personally would perfer to watch a pitcher's duel. I like to watch batters get frustrated :) of course, it helps if one of the pitchers is on my fantasy team! Which do you perfer?

Taking steriods won't make you a baseball player at the major league level, but it will make you better. You must posess talent for this to happen. Steriods make a home run a HOME RUN but they don't make a home run because you still have to have the timing etc. to hit one. It speeds up recovery time for players and helps with preventing injury. Besides, playing baseball is these guy's job, who are we or who is Congress to say they can't use something that helps them do their job. When did Congress and Bud Selig become responsible for other people's lives? We don't tell Congressmen they have to wear unitards and not expensive suits because it create's a level playing field for other Congressmen? Does anyone agree with me?
