I believe they still have a shot. Alot of good veteran players on that team. And I remember last season when they were almost out of the picture but came all the way back to make it to the world series. Anytime you put a class act like Clemens on your team and in your locker room it can't be a bad move .Even if he doesn't pitch as good as he used to he can still help your team. And you never know , he may end up throwing like the rocket of his younger days.

The king of drama, the prima donna, the self-centered Clemens will not make a dent in the futile Astros. Too bad too, because possibly they would have done better without him, minus his game playing and rotten attitude.

Good luck!!

I think Clemens gives them one of the best pitching staffs in baseball.

Clemens' return takes pressure off of Andy Pettitte (and as a Yankee fan, I can tell you proof-positive, that Pettitte is almost ALWAYS better in the second half).

They can make a run if they stay close now.

As for Clemens, yeah, as long as he has his hGH he'll be great.

I hate to say it (being a die hard Cincy Reds fan) but yeah they got a chance. Clemens is the man! Good for Houston for signing him
