Here goes...There are monuments to TWO (2) ex-Cardinals who never played for the Yankees in Monument Park, where monuments to Babe Ruth, Lou Gerhig, etc are located. Could you please tell me who the two ex-Cardinals are and for what on-the-field accomplishment they received this honor?

Obviously this is going to be based on conjecture. I am just interested in hearing the arguments for each player and projections for how their careers will look at the end.

I'm curious, because the Twins have hit 4 grand slams in the last 2 weeks. (2 by the same player)

I have an 8 yr old son whom I'm told is "AMAZING" on the baseball field. He plays short stop mostly, and never lets anything past him. When he is batting (which he as very good at as well) he is stepping back instead of to the pitcher. How can I get him to stop stepping back? He loves the game and I've been told he "has a future on the diamond", but he is not challanged enough at the regular camps etc. I need advice on how to improve his skills so he can pay his own way through college!LOL!!

Personally I think you'd have to go with a seemingly unbreakable record. But most wins or most hits could concevably be broken because you just need longevity (okay wins is probably unbreakable, but Cy Young just pitched like every other day).

I've got to go with DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak. The closest anyone has come is I believe Rose's 44-gamer.
