YES!!! People should be able to do things on their own and not take steriods to enhance their body just so that they can play better.

Absolutely. Steriods should definitely be illegal for several reasons. First of all, baseball players are role models to children. It is immoral (regardless of being a role model) to use steriods because it creates an unfair disadvantage to those who refuse to take them, so as to stay healthy. Also, steriods are just plain unhealthy for anyone. The players could be seriously hurt by taking steroids. We all know the health risks associated with them so I won't go into detail, but hands down, of course they should be illegal.

Yes, Unquestionably.

And for your next question, Barry Bonds should publicly admit that he made a mistake, make a deal with federal prosecutors
and him and Bud Selig make a public announcement of the perils
of steroid use - take an abbreviated absence from baseball, and,
under the terms of his probation, be permitted to enter the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Barry absolutely deserves this honor. This mistake in no way compares to Pete Rose.

I completely agree with Baseball that Pete Rose should never be allowed to enter the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Shame, maybe.

We all make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. Banishment of Barry Bonds would be a detriment to Major League Baseball.

Steriods should be illegal in any sport. A lot of the players with different sports get away with herbal steriods because they don't show up the same way chemical steroids do. I think the testing needs to be much more thorough and the punishment needs to get much much harsher.

They should be illegal. Steroids warp and distort the real fun in sports: strong people, playing a game, wowing fans with physical feats. Watching someone throw a 95 mph fastball is awesome, knowing that person has been artificialy enhancing his body is dissapointing.

Besides that point, steriods are bad for bodies in the long run, and are illegal according the federal law. Naturally they should be restricted in MLB!

They should be illegal in all sports for both the competitive advantage reason as well as the health risks reason. (On the other hand, why should I worry if some hot shot has his testes shrivel up and die a few years later?)

Here is the problem: Historically, in order to compete at the highest level in the pros, anyone who was not the "super" athlete who was clean (i.e. Albert Pujols) needed to find an enhancement to get him up to that level (i.e. Barry Bonds). Then the problem escalated, so in order for the average college player to make the pros, he had to do steroids or HGH. It got worse, so that in order to get a college scholarship, the players had to do steroids and HGH in High School!

The only way to stop it is to implement mandatory testing in High School and College, and to find a test for HGH -- even if it means a blood test!

We have some High Schools doing "voluntary" testing. Who in their right mind will volunteer? We now have schools voting on Mandatory testing! That's the only way to do it. Screw the "civil rights" issues. These are children! They have no civil rights. If the parents have a problem with it, that's because they are scared to find out the truth, or they are hiding the truth themselves!

Steroids should be illegal in baseball and all sports for that matter. Giving someone an edge with steroids takes away the fun and pure sport of the game. Not to mention how bad it is for a person's health.

you're a hundred% incorrect. Baseball has an anti-have self assurance exemption from the U. S. government. Congress has each and each surprising to perform a little component of Selig and the owners gained't. The owners knew for some years that there grow to be a venture and in elementary words until finally Congress threatened to repeal baseballs anti-have self assurance exemption did Selig perform a little component.

I think everyone should take steroids.

Aside from exciting baseball, these guys will be out in ten years and a new crop of athletes will come up. Everyone's dream of getting into baseball will be a reality as the Bigs will need an ever-expaning pool of talent.

Enhancing drugs of any sort are not only cheating, it is detrimental to your health. Is it worth destroying your body for a few years of success? In competing, the finish line or the goal is the results you are looking for. In life, if we push the envelope to get to that goal or finish line we will end up in the wrong time zone for our personnel journey and have a life time of dues to pay. Always take a real look at anything you put into your body to give it temporary results.
