No; it's just a superstition. Look at the White Sox and the Red Sox. They were supposed to be cursed, yet they won in 2004 and 2005.

It's probably the fact that the Cubs' management is content with the "Lovable Losers" image.

Some or most of the fans blame their un-World-Series-struggles on a curse of the billy goat. But really, they just haven't been the top team in the world for a while. They aren't cursed, they are just weak.

Not like creepy billy goat of the past cursed, but the "We didn't win this year, we really are cursed" curse. It's all in the players' heads. Whenever they lose a close one, get knocked out, or drop into a slump, the curse comes to mind. They may say differently, but they lie. In order to get that curse out of their mind, they have to win a World Series. It seems like the curse is gonna live a while.

Were The red Sox cursed? They won.

Were The White Sox cursed? They Won.

The red sox had to wait 86 years.
The White Sox had to wait 88 years.

The Cubs are next in line with 98 years...

...So I say it is time for them to win it.

Oh yeah, they need to keep steve bartman out of the stands!

While we're on curses, has anyone seen Santa Clause???
Curses don't exist, they're just an excuse for years of poor management and bad talent evaluation.
