There are a lot of people that come to Yahoo Answers to state that they think no skill is involved in auto racing. How can they even say that?

Ok, here is my opinion on nascar... nascar sucks, it is a bunch of hicks that cant talk right and screw thier cousins. and everybody thinks nascar is the greatest thing ever to happen. the only good part is when someone crashes. grrrrrr... nascar is seriously GAY!!!

nhra is way better, each run brings new suprises. it is exciting and tragic. it is the best and is way under rated!!!! i love the nhra!!!!

Does anyone know of a racing federation that is promoted worse than ChampCar? As bad as IRL promotion is, ChampCar is non-existent.

How do they expect to survive?

Can be from any type of racing - Nascar, F1, Indy - whatever -
I personally think it would be Mario Andretti - he won at Indy, won the Daytona 500, and won a F1 championship too.

I see it as a waste of time to watch people drive in circles for a couple of hours. well not just nascar I don't like any racing I would rather drive then see others drive, just go stand out on the side of a highway and watch cars drive by and set a winning point, its the same thing.

Does driving alot qaulify you as an athelete? Does that make cross country truck drivers atheletes? No matter how fast your going or for how long it seems to me that turning the wheel is still just turning the wheel. I had a car with no power steering once. Now that was hard driving.

I went to the race in 1988, and personally, I think the coverage on TV is nearly as good.

It takes serious huevos(spelled right?) to do 200MPH in the rain on a road course, and as usual, it looks much easier from the armchair than behind the wheel.

I have been a regular "customer" to Speed Channels website for some time, but is it my imagination, or are they starting to get into the business of selling T and A...

Don't get me wrong, I love woman, but it's starting to look a bit chessy, at best, and I would not recommend it to a minor.

Because "everybody is doing it", and kids are already exposed to this in so many aspects does not in my mind condone this practice.

I, for one, would love to see World Rally Championship events here, but no dice. Is it because the SCCA has pretty much locked the FIA (the international governing body for motorsports that sanctions WRC and Formula 1) out of North America or is it because the FIA has never taken racing in North America seriously?

I'd really like to know. Thanks!

Ok, I know how to drive a stick and i've heard of the technique called "heel and toe" when driving. How is this technique accomplished when shifting and what is the advantage of it as opposed to shifting normally? Thanks!

the race was suppose to take place in Zuhai, China 3 weeks after Formula 1's Shanghai GP. Why does the FIA and F1 care about what Champ Car does ??

How much longer will Champ Car be around ?
