Based on looking at a few videos, it is road racing with rear wheel drive cars with few or no other cars on the track. It looks stupid and they end the race with gals with inflated chests standing round.

Because they wouldn't know where to place it. Yes it's a competition (so is synchronized swimming and I don't see a separate category for that either), but it is definitely not racing.

They aren't as popular as F1 or NASCAR. That's like making a category under football or baseball for a specific team.

because those are more of street racing things, not professional competition
