I went to the race in 1988, and personally, I think the coverage on TV is nearly as good.

It takes serious huevos(spelled right?) to do 200MPH in the rain on a road course, and as usual, it looks much easier from the armchair than behind the wheel.

Love it!! There is such a great history to the race over the years. I'm glad to see that broadcasting it has become somewhat of a tradition again.

I agree, 200MPH in the rain!! Gotta love it, just like the F1 guys. Never let it be said that "a few rain drops" would ever stop a race when REAL cars are involved!!

It was a damn good race. A little confusing at the end though, it seemed that ever one wasn't one the same page for when they were going to throw the green that last time. The Peugeot's really gave the Audi's a run this year.

i love le mans, but i was disappointed with the coverage, last year speed channel did race recaps like every half hour, this year i didn't see any, so i have no idea what happened to the other puegeau, or any other race incident other than the Ferrari's bad door,
