a V8 is an engine design consisting of 8 cylinders arranged in two lines of 4 in a vee shape with a common crankshaft at the bottom of the vee.

A "supercar" is a vague term but generally means an automobile with superior acceleration, handling, and braking capabilities far exeeding almost every other car i.e., Saleen S7, McLaren F1, Ferarri Enzo, Lamborghini Diablo.

There is an Australian professional racing series called "V8 Supercar" it is just the name of the series though the cars do have V8's and are highly modified such that they provide "super" performance.

They are of the smaller car size with a bad a## v8 in it which makes them very fast and the handling is outstanding
I would hope that since SPEED has chosen not to show them anymore someone like ESPN would. These drivers and cars just get it done. GREAT TO WATCH. I wish the USA had a group like this here. They could travel with on e of the road circuit groups and be a real hit.
