I love the sprint cars. I try to catch at least three or four shows a year at Wilmot Speedway in Wisconsin.

Great racing. I go to see the sprinter when ever I can. Were I am there is an ALLSTAR bunch which I believe is open class. The class's that are there about every week is the 410's and 305's. Pretty amazing stuff.
I've been a race fan for, well lets say some time in the 50's and never turn down a chance to go see the open wheelers. I have turned down NASCAR tickets before though in recent times.
NASCAR was once an awesome thing to watch and now with all the changes and ridiculous fines and there are so many that don't have a clue about racing that claim to be the biggest NASCAR fan ever.
Well, I just find it easier to let the kiddies have there fun and I'll keep watching real racing at the local tracks.

I love dirt track sprints!!! the top series around here(mid-west) are Sprints on Dirt, Full Throttle Sprints and of course the OUTLAWS!!! a lot of the drivers race all three when they can(IE fri, sat, sun nights) My favorite driver is "The Hoosier Rocket" Brett Mann. My local track is I-96 speedway a 5/8 mile banked dirt oval. Which I think is pretty big for dirt track (I know most the other local track are only 1/4 mile) last year the state cops came out and for the fans clocked the racers. 156mh on the back stretch! also, we dont race 30 to 50 laps9maybe the track is to big) but the feature the other night was 20 laps

Im huge sprintcar fan would watch a sprint car race over nascar, and late models! By far the most lethal machine to spread dirt. My home track I-30 speedway in Arkansas host 360 sprints every Saturday night and the Short Track Nationals. I like Steve Kinser, but my favorite driver is from Hooks, TX Gary Wright hes the man!!!

We have tons of sprinters around here.I'm not a huge fan of them...I prefer my latemodels and mods but I do try and walk up to watch the 305's if we're not working on our car.And I watch the AllStars when they are in town just to see how some of my 410 friends do againest them. But I do think the sprints but on a better show then what NASCAR does anymore.
