He's earned none of the respect he's gotten and he can't take care of an engine. And don't tell me it's a conspiracy by Teresa to rig his engines. There's too much money involved in so many ways for that to even be considered true. Hendrick might give him a bump and he should make the Chase one of these years but he'll never be a Champion. He is a good racer but engines are not indestructable and the good drivers make sure they have an engine at the end of the race.

I mean 95% of the NASCAR answers are pulled out of their u-know-what. Either research your answer a little or have been a pre-Nextel fan and remember a rule or two from then.

She isn't letting Jr. test in the Hendrick cars at all. I mean, what would she be losing? He isn't in the chase for the championship, I think that she's just trying to exert that last little bit of control.

I mean really, if my father had started a business, remarried, hired his children, then left everything for his current wife and nothing, not even a division for his children to run, I would be upset as well. The fact that Jr hasn't won this year, I think, has no bearing on the situation. Maybe the fact that Theresa has given him lousy equipment has a lot to do with the problem. The fact that she changed his crew in beginning of the season, told me she wanted him gone. It looked as if Theresa was trying to push him out, due to the popularity Jr has. I am very happy Jr is going to Hendrick, maybe there he'll be treated fairly and equally. Not like a wicked stepson, by a wicked stepmother. The mere idea that Jr needed to decide whether or not to be a driver or celebrity, just amazed me. Good luck Jr, in the #88 at Hendrick. I can't wait until next season. Go Jr.

Has anyone heard anything about DEI running Jeffery Earnhardt a full season next year in the Busch series and maybe trying to get him to the Cup series after that (maybe 2009)..?
http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/blog/nascar_marbles/post/Earnhardt-and-Logano-today-and-tomorrow?urn=nascar,46088
Also he picked up his first pole in the Busch East series...
http://www.eastseries.com/
Would it be too soon in 2009 to put him in a Cup car?

The Luckiest Man racing at dover is

Clint Bowyer! wow, qualifying dead last ( did he? when i saw it he was 47th ) out of everyone that tried, boy is he lucky, especially since if he hadn't had the provisional or w/e his chase chances would of been ruined. What Happened to Bowyer / car? Also if you don't think Bowyer was the luckiest, who was and why?

1. Jamie McMurray winning the fall Charlotte race in 2002, in only his second start.

2. Derrike Cope gets his first career win in the 1990 Daytona 500.

3. Robby Gordon's first career win coming at New Hampshire in 2001.

I heard them say Dale Jr. is going to be on, but do you know of anybody else? I checked all over but can't find anything on who's on the show. I was thinking maybe Dale Jr. and Kasey Kahne because of their new sponsors.

To all those people who feel sad about the Budweiser #8 going away, your stocks just went up! All that stuff is now part of NASCAR history, and is a collectible.

It is not always the engine shops fault that the engine blows.
There is a huge difference from being the best driver and the most popular driver.

This is a weird stat I didn't know

Unless one of the six North Carolina born drivers, #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr., #44-Dale Jarrett, #83-Brian Vickers, #45-Kyle Petty, #6-David Ragan or #10-Scott Riggs, wins one of the final nine races in 2007, it will be the first year since the NASCAR Cup Series started that a driver born in North Carolinian would not win at least one race in a season. And you only need a few North Carolina born drivers to prove it. Lee Petty won at least one race every year from 1949 thru 1961, then Richard Petty did it from 1961 thru 1977, Benny Parsons won in 1978, Dale Earnhardt in 1979-1980, Richard won in 1981, the Dale Earnhardt won at least a race a year from 1982 thru 1996, Dale Jarrett 1993 thru 2003 and Dale Earnhardt Jr. 2000-2006. Of course many other North Carolina born drivers won in those years.(JAYSKI.COM)

W/ those 6 drivers, I think the chances are good they go win-less.. Jr is their best shot.

Think they will go winless? or will someone snag 1?

In a hypothethical situation let's say you are a Nascar driver and you are racing at Richmond. There's 2 laps to go and Gordon is in the lead and YOU are right on his bumper. Would you put the "Bump and Run" on Gordon?
