This is a weird stat I didn't know
Unless one of the six North Carolina born drivers, #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr., #44-Dale Jarrett, #83-Brian Vickers, #45-Kyle Petty, #6-David Ragan or #10-Scott Riggs, wins one of the final nine races in 2007, it will be the first year since the NASCAR Cup Series started that a driver born in North Carolinian would not win at least one race in a season. And you only need a few North Carolina born drivers to prove it. Lee Petty won at least one race every year from 1949 thru 1961, then Richard Petty did it from 1961 thru 1977, Benny Parsons won in 1978, Dale Earnhardt in 1979-1980, Richard won in 1981, the Dale Earnhardt won at least a race a year from 1982 thru 1996, Dale Jarrett 1993 thru 2003 and Dale Earnhardt Jr. 2000-2006. Of course many other North Carolina born drivers won in those years.(JAYSKI.COM)
W/ those 6 drivers, I think the chances are good they go win-less.. Jr is their best shot.
Think they will go winless? or will someone snag 1?

Great post! I'm still pulling for Jr. to get one win before the season is over. He's really "hungry" and I think he'll do it, at least I hope so.
Go JR.>>>>

Wow, those are some strange stats. You can pretty much bet that Dale Jarrett and Kyle Petty won't get a win. Scott Riggs and David Ragan are just so-so. I'd put my money on Jr. or Brian Vickers, but when it all comes down to it, I have a feeling that the Carolina Boys will make history by not winning a race this season. (and I hope for Jr.'s sake I'm wrong)

Ragan or Earnhardt could win one, but my bet is the NC drivers will be shut out. It is good for the sport to see so many Midwest and Western drivers doing so well and making up such a large percentage of the Chase drivers.
Soon, you will have more Latin and European drivers, open wheel drivers, etc. winning more races than deep-south USA drivers. Again, good for the broadening of the sport.

To be honest, it seems like you are jealous of her, and you are getting involved in buisness that has nothing to do with you. If you have a problem between each other, it should just be about you and her, not other people. You spent a huge chunk talking about her messing boys around, what has that got to do with you? they have their own mouths, if they have a huge problem, they will tell her sooner or later, they dont need you to stick up for them. I can understand the first and third paragraph, those are the only good point you have made to be annoyed with her. The last large paragraph is silly, "You’re only in it to talk and giggle and make it seem like you’re cool" seems like jealousy. You are just pointing out mistakes she has made, which isnt a problem, but you are moaning about small issues that could have been sorted out in a conversation of 10 minutes! I must say, you have given her some credit, but most of it is just rubbish, and I think you should talk to her in person.

Interesting stats, good observation! I still believe they'll get at least 1 win before the season's out. What about an organization from North Carolina? Does that count?

Sadly as much as I like Brian Vickers, Kyle Petty,David Ragan and Scott Riggs, they are all less than sub par driver's now day's.
I feel that David will get a win soon ,as he is finally getting the hang of the car .
I'm pretty sure that Kyle lost his desire when we lost Adam (RIP)
BTW...great article Will-I-Am !

Dale Jr. may just snag one before the year is out. I'm sure that he'd like to get one in his old ride before he heads off to the greener pastures of Hendrick. And hey, there's still Talladega, where just about anyone can pull a win out.

I think North Carolina's hopes are best spent on the #8. But this may be the year they go winless.

That is a good post. Times are a-changin' I guess. I do think(or maybe it's just hope) Jr. will pull out a win before season's end though.
