I was surprised to read this morning on Jayski.com that other teams may be looking @ trying to sign Allmendinger. I like the guy, and think he has great potential in the sport.. but I always thought other drivers/owners didn't really care for him. That's just the vibe I've got since he's been in NASCAR. But what team do you think would be looking @ AJ and where do you think he would best fit in? RCR has been pondering a 4th car.. You never know whats going on @ Gillette-Evernham.. Yates Racing has some decisions to make.. Robby Gordon wants a 2nd car.. Who do you think is looking @ signing the youngster from Cali?

Since Mark Martin will be driving for DEI in 2008, do you think we'll see him in a race in which his engine blows? I have a hard time thinking that a driver like Mark Martin would consider driving a car that might blow up on him. After racing all his life, do you think he would lower himself to substandard equipment. Will blown engines magically stop plaguing DEI, and will it prove a conspiracy?

...A couple of friends of mine went to a Nascar race and got a "cheap" motel. We paid $30 dollars for the room ($10 a person).

...Turns out we paid $5 too much for the motel room so the manager decided to have the cashier brings us a $5 refund back. On the way back to the room he thought about it a realized that he could not split $5 between 3 people and it come out to be equal so he kept $2 and gave each of us a dollar back.

...So instead of paying $10 a piece for a room we now had paid $9 a piece for the room, which was even better. So all together we paid $27 for the room because 3 x 9 = 27.

If we paid $27 for the room and
the cashier kept $2 then
that accounts for only $29

There is still $1 unaccounter for....
What happened to the other dollar?

If you picked Johnson, how many points do you think he will gain in Gordon?

If you picked Gordon, how many points do you think Gordon will extend his lead on Johnson?

No other drivers matter in this question but please feel free to mention your driver and how you think they will do!

That there is say a thirty/forty y/o guy, that can most likely run circles around these young kids that are being hyped, plugging away on a dirt track, but he will never get the chance because today Marketing beats out Wins when it comes to NASCAR Drivers? Does it make you shake your head and say this sucks or am I the only one that thinks that talent and talent alone is all that should matter?
