We all know Mr. Perfect can't lose a car all by himself, right?
Was it his evil stepmother again?
It had to have been someone elses fault, right junior fans?

But we all know one of them will win the championship right? I'm hoping Jeff Gordon will finish about 2nd and Jimmie Johnson will finish about 5th today. Now that would be exciting for the last race. So what do you think should happen to make it more exciting?

We've got 50 or so fantastic drivers who aren't being mentioned at all while these guys catch all the story lines.
We got along fine without them, keep our ood ole' boys in your reporting also.

Meaning will word come down from Rick Hendrick or Gordon ? I think even Nascar desperatly wants Gordon to win. I think they want to start a "new era" in Nascar and leave the old drivers behind-especially Earnhardt Sr.

Last Race Of The Cup Chase and Let's Say Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon are Tied In Points... And There Running 1 and 2 on the final lap... If your in 2nd place would you tap your buddy on the side to get him sideways and possibly even know it might mean wrecking him?

Cause I'll tell you right now friends and team-mates are different when you get onto the track.

So I think I would do it....

Would you do it?

He beat a field of rookies who can barely afford to have a car on the track. That is like Mickey Mantle going to AAA farm league and hitting 90 home runs in a season. Am I the only one who thinks this way.

Get rid of owners points, or at least to where the top 20 in owners points are assured to be in the race. So many times cars that don't make a race because of owner points, qualified faster than some of the cars that are in the field. Why should 81% of the cars be in the race because of past points. Owner points have become a joke.

Past Champions provisional. This is another out dated rule. I'm ok with the provisional, but I think it should't be allowed to be used at the Daytona 500, and it shouldn't be allowed to be used in back to back races. I'd like to see it only used once a month. It's a jole that Michael Waltrip has called Terry Labonte and Bill Elliott to drive his car since he's didn't make so many races this season. A lot of these olds rules have become a joke.

Richard Petty says that two team mates battling for the championship is boring and bad for the sport.

NASCAR seems to make up rules out of no where when things are bad for the sport - What rule are they going to make up this time?

(BTW...have fun with this one folks - 10 pts to the person who can make me laugh the hardest.)

I'm looking for an early wreck that involves Gordon ans Johnson. Maybe something that will put them 5-10 laps down. I wounder how NASCAR will play the yellow flags to get them into the top 10 by the final laps.

What is NASCAR doing to the Busch series? Their letting NEXTEL drivers in and their taking the spotlight from letting Busch only drivers from trying to get a sponser or a nextel ride? I think nextel drivers should only be allowed 15 race. Do you agree or if not whats you idea or take

Doesn't NASCAR resemble open-wheeled racing in the late 80's and early 90's? Cars are all the same, can't pronounce anyones name, and the intro of foreign cars to the competition. I can't wait for the spin-off.
