Richard Petty 10 in a row in 1967. Modern day NASCAR, since 1971, seven drivers share a 4 race streak, Gordon, Dale Sr., Harry Gant, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Mark Martin and Bill Elliott. Plus now Jimmie Johnson.

Richard Petty won double digit races in a row before the modern era. Petty, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and I think a few others have won four in a row in the modern era.
