Doesn't NASCAR resemble open-wheeled racing in the late 80's and early 90's? Cars are all the same, can't pronounce anyones name, and the intro of foreign cars to the competition. I can't wait for the spin-off.

I don't really see the comparison between the two. NASCAR isn't going anywhere, and I don't see room for a "spin-off". Name pronunciation makes no difference at all. Foreign cars (made in America) won't "break it up" either. Are you a true NASCAR fan?

I'd Love to see ''ALL'' the cup drivers break away, and join force's with Bruton Smith, and start their own... ''STOCK CAR''
series !! Stockcar racing !! The way it should be !! I'll buy my Atlanta / Daytona ticket's,5years in advance Bruton,If it'll help ya any !!!!
Komet's.. I just found out Friday evening, that the G.M Doraville
plant, here in Atlanta,is slated to close here soon !! What a bummer man !!That's 2 G.M and 1 Ford plant here. Their is a KIA plant opening up by the Alabama border that Ga. paid for
But you know 1/2 the workers are going to come from Ala. What exactly does KIA stand for ? Killed In Auto ???

I could see that happen. Alot of the top names could go with a Smith led group. Its a long shot but it could very well happen.
As far as Toyota at least they are made in the USA. How many of the others are now made in the USA? Toyota and 1 other car are USA made ... Do you know which other car is USA made? The other so called American cars are made in Mexico.

Will it happen I don't think so.
Could it happen Yes it could.
Would it happen very possible.
Realisticly with Bruton Smith and others like him it could happen if enough fans-drivers-owners keep voicing opinion to NASCAR.

The way they are acting, maybe one day. Toyota needs to stay out, they don't belong and need to go back to Japan. Dario and Pablo need to go back to open wheel.
