Get rid of owners points, or at least to where the top 20 in owners points are assured to be in the race. So many times cars that don't make a race because of owner points, qualified faster than some of the cars that are in the field. Why should 81% of the cars be in the race because of past points. Owner points have become a joke.

Past Champions provisional. This is another out dated rule. I'm ok with the provisional, but I think it should't be allowed to be used at the Daytona 500, and it shouldn't be allowed to be used in back to back races. I'd like to see it only used once a month. It's a jole that Michael Waltrip has called Terry Labonte and Bill Elliott to drive his car since he's didn't make so many races this season. A lot of these olds rules have become a joke.

As much as I love NASCAR...I HATE ALL THE RULES. I hate the "race for the chase" the points system, the "Lucky Dog Pass", Owners point, provisionals, ETC. Here's how it should be. 43 cars should qualify for each race including the Daytonna 500! If you win a race, you get 43 points! If your last you get 1 point. If you go down a lap...you make it up by skipping a pit stop or whatever! If your 1 lap down and in 33rd place guess what....you start in 33rd place NOT IN FRONT OF THE LEADERS! One set of punishments and fines for everyone. NOT fine this team but slap the wrist of the other for the same infraction. Larger fines! Having a team fined $25,000 is like asking me if you can borrow a dollar. "SURE! Here's 2 bucks, go crazy!" Take better care of the fans not the corporations! Hell-if a team messes up..make them take of the sponsorship of the car....we'll see who cheats then! I could go on and on!

I think the spirit of the past champs provisional rule is good, but there was one incident that made me realize that the rule is bull - In Sonoma, California qualifying was rained out and Boris Said did not get a chance be in the race. Then Awesome Bill gave his ride to Boris. What was that all about? What would prevent Waltrip from using Labonte's provisional, then magically on Sunday - instead of Terry Labonte in the race car, we see Michael Waltrip? Like I said, the spirit of the rule is right, but the fact that owners have become dependent on these drivers to make the race is a joke.

I dis like any of the rules that were made up from 2000 on. I have as these rule come out stop watching just a few less NA$CAR races and I DO NOT BUY ANYTHING WITH NA$CAR ON IT.
I read where Bow Legged Snake said that France is pleased with everything. That is a disturbed person who must be trying to destroy everything his father and Grand father ever built for us fans.
This Chase, which some jerk off in this NA$CAR Q%A forum said that " the chase is not a play off system." Well this waste of good air better go read what Brian France calls it. This chase hasn't worked and will never work. The end of the season is no more exciting now than it was years ago. It takes away from everything the team has worked for. I don't care who you are that is wrong.
Top 35 is equally idiotic. No way in this world should a team that can't make the race on the drivers time should be in the race. And if you are good on time you should be in it.
I am OK with the provisional. They earned it they should be able to use it. They paid there dues.
I'll take any one of those old rules in place of these new rules made by some butt munching series destroying homosexual like France.
Long live the old rules and take the new one's and well you no where they can shove them.

Do away with owner points, provisionals, any and everything that guarantees a starting spot. If you want to race, go fast. If you can't go fast, go home.

I agree with everything you wrote. For some reason King France thinks that he is making the right call when the owners and drivers know that they are ideals from an idiot.

I am for that. But it will never happen. NASCAR needs the advertisement money from these cars that make on owners points.
