Not really surprised. For some unknown reason, it does not appear that Jr. has any of his daddy's strong drive or 'never give up' attitude. He almost always tends to take the blame for his lack of luck. As a die-hard Sr. fan, I hate to say that I'm a little disappointed in Jr's lackluster driving ability or whatever.

Certainly not I. Then again, I'm not surprised by the "Red Nation"'s whining about it, or the "Jr. Haters" crowing either. Dale Jr. is definitely one of the most polarizing figures in NASCAR at the moment. I'm anxious to see what he can do with Hendrick backing. If he makes a big move in the Chase next year, I say he's vindicated, if be bombs, he's just another Kyle Petty; just another spoiled kid making money on Daddy's name.

im not surprised at all either. and i do think that he is driving his heart out for DEI seeing how most of those ppl are his friends. I am a diehard Sr. and Jr. fan and i think Jr is a great driver but he hasnt reached his peak yet. get him to Hendrick where he can relax and not worry about all the switching and whatnot then he drive to the end. and maybe as time goes on he'll get a little bit of his father in him and push ppl out of his way.

and jr is one of the few drivers who dont whine thank you. he talks in either a normal or exhausted tone of voice.

I am a little bit. He has won at PIR before. I think he just wants this year to end and NOT give DEI a win. And I agree, he just an average driver. How many wins does he have this year?

GET OVER IT RED NATION, Jr is not that great!!!!!!!!!!
