I want to know what everyone thinks about the car of tomorrow? I personally think they should have never made it. NASCAR is stock car racing. Not no custom made ugly looking thing. They can improve the safety on the cars they already got, they don't need a whole new car to do it.

Lap 16, caution comes out for debris on the track. Johnson, Earnhart, and several others have fuel concerns. Drivers are able to pit, take tires and fuel. After several laps, Johnson is able to take lead from Stewart. He had been a constant 1 second behind him then began to pull away. Seems odd to me. Kobalt 500 won by the Lowes/Kobalt car. Anyone else think this was manipulated?

Remember last year when Earnhardt, Jr was fined points plus big bucks for cursing in interview? Today Montoya said he was "*issed off" about the race.... now, if he's isn't fined in points and big money.. am I the only one who will be upset??

When I posted that last question I wasn't being too serious, but what was Biffle thinking? I don't think I'm ever going to figure that one out. But now that I look at it, Daytona Busch race, 60 tries turning Reutimann, California Cup Race Biffle punts Reutimann into the wall, Mexico was alright, he missed Vegas, and now Biffle taking out Reutimann and Vickers, and Khane too not to mention himself. I'm starting to think I may have been right.

And on a side note, I thought Atlanta was supposed to be an exciting race. I was happy with the finish. But that race was a snooze fest, just absolutly boring. Bristol's going to be boring too with the COT. Nobody's going to push it. Opinions on that too if you dont mind.

Can anyone provide the details of the NASCAR rules about caution flags and pit stops? I get so confused when I'm watching a race, and a yellow flag comes out...some times they're all racing for the pits, some times not...some times someone gets a "lap back"...I'm just very confused about how the determine positions coming out of a caution, etc. If anyone can let me know, or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

There has to be a better way. Plates force the cars to run in packs, creating more chances for "The Big One".

i have to know if i am married to the only long term kurt busch fan as in this isnt counting the ones who only went to him because rusty retired and he is driving rusty's old car but i guess i havent really seen any of those around here either.
i went into our local hat store to buy my husband a new kurt busch hat and they had to special order one because they only kept one hat in stock and it was ugly (not saying any kurt busch hat looks good)

we all know that back in terry labontes hayday with hendricks he was the man with the plan, the #1 driver at hendrick,he had 2 championship wins.
jeff gordon came in and kinda took over that from him.he became the #1 driver at hendrick ms.
are we now seeing the 48 car take over that role at hendrick?it seems like all the emphasis is put on jimmie johnson now.
am i right or wrong on this?

I am hearing about AT&T sponsoring a car for a team, and Sprint Nextel blocking them. I figured since Cingular already sponsored a car and their parent company SBC buying AT&T and using it for Cingular as well that they would already be in the sport, so whats the big deal about them sponsoring a car.
