Remember last year when Earnhardt, Jr was fined points plus big bucks for cursing in interview? Today Montoya said he was "*issed off" about the race.... now, if he's isn't fined in points and big money.. am I the only one who will be upset??

about "joe's" comments: That's the point.. lots of youngsters idolize these drivers want to "do as they do say what they say".. and for Montoya, I was actually pulling for him, switching to NASCAR . but the week he spun out his own teammate in order to win the road course race in Mexico.. that was just a too much! There's enough road rage on the tracks already without importing more...

I personally am not offended but either drivers comments...but with that said nascar need to be consistant with what it will allow and what it wont...inconsistancy will only confuse the situation. On the side note of montoya...why is everyone supposed to love this guy ALREADY!!!can anyone say talladega nights lol

Pissed off is not that bad, you can hear worse than that on MTV or and Bill Parcells interview. As for Montoya, whats the big deal? Why is everyone against him racing in NASCAR? He has proven that he can race in this league by winning a Busch race and fifth today. Why not get rid of someone like Micheal Waltrip? He hasn't qualified all year, or what about Johnny Sauter?

I hope you're the only one who will be upset. It's no big deal . And it was 2004 when Jr , Hornaday and I think Sauter got fined. Nascar should not have started fining drivers for swearing in the first place. For the f-word yeah , but not ''sh*t'' and definitely not "p*ssed off".

I dont think you can compare "pissed off about the race" with "that don't mean ****" I can understand why some parents would not want there kids to here somone say **** but I dont think they would have that much of a problem with somone being pissed off

Fine him. Pi** is one of Carlin's 7 words, remember? BTW, I have no problem with JP being in Cup.

That's not considered a swear word, however with NASCAR's new PC. image they will probably talk to him. They don't want any drivers to have a personality.
