Yes, this weekend at Atlanta they did a flyover with fighter jets.

they also had a parachute stunt team drop into the infield at the sams town 300 in vegas last week, I honestly fought all 3 of them were gonna wipe out into turn 1 from the angle I was sitting at. Pretty awesome though. They had the F-16's fly by aswell, and then for the nextel race the next day they had the thunderbirds out there doing stunts.

Nellis AFB is right behind the back straightaway, so the whole weekend you had everything flying over nice and slow taking a peak at the races.

yes they do............when i went to the bush race at kentucky last year they flew in 2 blackhawk helicopters right in front of the grandstands and hovered about 150' above the front stretch at the start finish line.........man what a sight to see
