They only showed about 45 seconds of the press confrence on ESPN2, did they reveal what number Jr is going to race under or any sponser details?

I have mixed emotions about the merger. I hope the Jr fans will come to see the Jr and Jeff are friends and maybe the will quite being haters. I'm not sure if I like Jr coming to Henrick though. Opinions please..

that a true Jr. fan will follow him reguardless.....he now will have what hes needed to get out there and just race....what he does best....have someone to back him.. actually be at the race and pat him on the back for good and help him where hes wrong...

and for those of you that are here for teresa... if she weren't such the B, she would at least give him the number 8... but, shes a B....and shes proven it....

Only a TRUE fan will support their favorite driver no matter where he drives. I would follow my driver no matter what. As a matter of fact I already have. McMurray went from Ganassi to Roush. I wasn't a big fan of Roush at the time, but I still stuck with McMurray. And now I'm a huge fan of Roush. True fans will follow and support all the time.

What if today Dale Jr. gets on tv and says he's joining a team that is not Hendrick?
What if this is all one big step up between Jr. and Hendrick to make people think this and fool the media and the world?
Just to ensure the truth didn't come out until Dale Jr. said where he was going himself. Has anybody thought about this? It being a deversion to get people thinking one thing and then when he makes his announcement, it comes out to be something entirely different.

I would like to hear from the Kyle Busch fans! Don't answer this if you aren't a Busch fan no one needs your opinion. But I'm sure you won't be able to help yourself. If junior goes to hendrixs do you think he will lose alot of fan base. I know that Gordon and Johnson are in the top of least favorite drivers.. you can tell by then getting booed at the races. I have to say if he goes to hendrix i will be rooting for the #20 car tony stewart.. and i am a BIG JR. Fan!

Not because of what he did,but because of how people trashed him.I know he's the bad boy of racing and likes it!But if everyone had the will to win that he does NASCAR would really be something.He races like Pete Rose played baseball and Larry Bird played basketball,with confidence and doesn.t kiss rears that's what some drivers need.This is my thoughts on the situation.Anybody agree?

I love how everyone says that Dale Earnhardt Sr is "spinning" in his grave about Dale Jr. joining Hendrick.....first of all I Believe that Sr would respect his son's decision and would be happy for him.

I do not know where everyone body gets their information from in regards to Sr and Gordon having this all consuming rivalry. This is nothing more than Dale Sr's "fans" and Gordons "fans" having nothing better to do than create drama for themselves. I think it is disrespectful to nascar as a whole for the way that their "fans" carry on.

Comparing one driver to another driver to say the least is absoultely the stupidest thing that can ever be done. To say that a race car drivers son isnt exactly like how his father was makes him less of a driver? Hello people reality check time here, sons are not clones of their fathers and therefore will not be exactly like their fathers.
