Im new to nascar and im watching the race in infineon and i find this so much more interesting than the ovals. Ovals are just so much more boring. Why dont they do more races like this? The passes are better and they make way more mistakes and in my opinion it really shows the men from the boys. Go montoya, i hope he wins this

I'm currently watching the Sonoma race and was amazed to hear Jeff Gordon's in-car communication. He asked who was driving the number 96 and was told Ron Fellowes. His reply was that someone should tell Ron Fellowes who is driving the number 24.

The ego has finally landed. Is Jeff Gordon to the point where he has gotten so lazy that he expects people to get out of his way rather than actually race them? If he is half as talented as he is touted to be, then show it and race.

Gordon & Johnson cars were not legal at Sonoma. What do you think the penalty should be for there teams? Should it more or less than what Jr.'s team got at Darlington?

As they just showed a replay of Kyle Petty and Matt Kenseth get together on track at Sonoma, you can here one of the two drivers, sounds like Petty, say "what the F(full word heard)...." over his radio, and it was broadcast over the cable channel. Do you think TNT and NASCAR, AND every broadcasting company covering, showing, rebroadcasting this show, be penalized and fined?

Anyone else think the races are starting way to late? Its almost 5 and Larry Mac is still annoying me waiting for the green to fly. I know its a west coast race but even the east coast races dont start till at least 230 -3.

I feel kinda bad for Almirola, it was counted as his first Busch win, however, he didn't cross the finish line, Hamlin did, he didn't get to do burnouts or go celebrate in Victory Lane. I think they should have just let Almirola finish the race and not put Hamlin in. Just my opinion, what do you guys think??

why was hendricks team mates gordon and johnson not allowed to quailify when all other teams who have failed inspection (most recently jr. with unapproved wing brackets) allowed to make changes and still quailify is this nascars way of penalizing hendricks for being ahead of the rest of the field on the COT

Does anyone think that next season Jr. will take over as the top driver at HMS? I know, Jeff Gordon is great, but how well do you think Jr. will do?

Also, should he take on a new crew leader or should he take Eury Jr. with him?

This is a personal opinion, but I think he should be kicked out of NASCAR. He is always trying to cheat and is always getting a little slap on the hand when other crew chiefs are suspend. He hardly gets anything.

What do you think of him?

My perception is that it's a bunch of cars going around in circles for hours and wasting tons of fossil fuel. If you're a fan, please tell me what it is that you like about it. What am I missing?

This is a serious question, so please, don't anyone get their undies in a bunch. I really don't get what's interesting about it, and I'm trying to understand.

I am not trying to defend Hendrick, but isn't it the job of the crew chief and the team to push the edge? If you listen to any old racer like DW or The King there were a lot of things that they tried. Yes, the Paragon of Virtue and Fair Play, Richard Petty went around the rules every now and then. All drivers have stretched the rules and found a little extra fuel mileage. If the Hendrick cars were found with that, what have they done that they haven't been caught with?

They have been cheating all year long. Are you that blind to not see that? Gordon and Johnson fans are too busy thinking their team is the best and they are dominating this year, when in reality the fact is THEY HAVE BEEN CHEATING!!!!
