I don't see Denny throwing a fit after saying that he'd let Almirola finish.
Denny said at the beginning, he didn't want to take Almirola out of the race. He was going to take #66's place because he wasn't feeling good, but it looks like Joe Gibbs put him in his car and took Almirola out.

First of all, Hamlin was at the track on time, but they couldn't land the helicopter because there were cars parked in the way. Then they wanted to land on the race track, but the officials wouldn't let them. I was there and that would've been so cool to see him land on the track, talk about a driver introduction. Then he had to go back to the airport and get a police escort. So, he was on time, just couldn't land. And second it wasn't Hamlin's choice to pull Almirola from the car. Rockwell Automation, the sponsor of the car, is a Milwaukee based business, and I'm sure they wanted to see Hamlin in it. I'm pretty sure they had some pull on it. I feel bad that he had to get out, however he still gets the points, the victory and the money.

It was all the sponsors and Hamlin had nothing to do with it. Some fans parked on the landing pad so he was late while they found a new place to land. Almirola was doing great and I feel bad for him getting his 1st "win" like that. However he knew what he was getting into when he agreed to qualify, practice, and then start the race. He knew he was a fill in driver until Hamlin got there.

It was Rockwell!! That sponsor is so inconsiderate of how hard Almirola worked to get the 20 car ready for the race.
The pit crew wasn't that happy, neither was Hamlin, it would only be right if Almirola finished the race.
Seriously, I thought this race would be a great chance for Almirola, but instead we saw Hamlin beating a local favorite, Scott Wimmer, who I think really deserves a win, his last 4 finishes have been 3rd, 4th, 3rd, and now 2nd.

That was a bunch of BS. And of course Hamlin just won, Almirola got credited for it, nice way to win a race I think. I'm sure Hamlin is going to give Almirola the trophy. I highly doubt it. They kept saying Hamlin didn't want to get into the car and take Almirola's spot, he even said it himself in victory lane. If he really didn't want to get in the car he could have and should have said no. Almirola qualified, and started the race, he should have been allowed to finish. If I was Almirola I would leave Gibbs, because that was absolutly ridiculous. I use to like Hamlin. Now he's one of the few drivers I can't stand, and this incident made me dislike him even more. That just wasn't right.

All I have to say about this is Denny Hamlin flew in from California with Carl Edwards and Carl made the show before it started why didn't Hamlin... That goes to show if your not that well known then you get shafted... I feel if you can't qualify the car you can't race the car, NO MATTER who it is. I'm a Dale Jr. fan and even if it was him I would feel the same way. It takes away from the other driver to make his own name in racing....

I really feel bad for Aric but NASCAR's not just a sport but a business as well and Rockwell wanted Denny in the car and the spnsor gets what the sponsor wants because they pay for everything. Denny did a good job, and he probably will give the trophy to Aric considering it'll have Aric's name on it and Denny is one of the more humble guys in nascar. I didn't like the call but I liked the result.

H*LL YES!!!!!!! He was doing a great job. With the money these guys make I think Denny could afford an alarm clock. I felt it served him right to not get to drive that car. I am a Gibbs fan but I am really disappointed in J.D.
