I've never been a fan of Jeff Gordon. I don't understand Nascar's attitude about him this year. They are making a big deal about him and his career during every race broadcast. If he joins the Underwater Basket Weaving Association, Fox and the other networks will provide full coverage.

Yeah, he does have an ego. He has 79 wins and four Championships. Fellowes is a "Ringer" and has no business being there. The reason he said what he said was Fellowes nearly wrecked him on one turn and Gordon was angry that a "Ringer" was interfering with a Cup Regular. I'd be upset too if a "Ringer" was trying to run me off the track. They are just there for one paycheck; Jeff is there to win a Championship.
I wan't amazed by what Gordon said. I am glad he said. These "Ringers" need to know their place when they step into a Cup event. Their place is not to run Cup Regulars off the track.

hell no all these people who agree damn yall must be really jealous huh? that he is the best driver out there. it is ridiculous how much people want to hate on Jeff when the thing is i don't see there fav. driver with 4 championships and the king of road courses. he simply said that b/c Ron Fellowes wouldn't get out of the way while Jeff had a wayy better car than him i mean there is no since in people who have bad cars keeping the ones with good ones in the back. get out of the way.

I think you were hearing the Jeff Gordon that Dale Earnhardt Sr. hated and that most rednecks in the south hated....an ego the size of texas in a little bitty body...
He was a good driver once...I think those days were left back on one of the left turns a while back!
It will be interesting to see his ego and DH Jr. on the same team....

He's just saying that he's the Champion points leader, and a veteran, and Ron is not. he was sending a message to say "hey, be careful, I'm behind you, don't wreck me." The Drivers with the BIG ego is Kurt Bush, Kyle Bush And Jimmie Johnson. That commercial Jimmie did with Sadler, where the guy brings the trophy to Jimmie, That fits Jimmies ego perfect. Thinks hes better. (he's NOT)!

Ron Fellows was probably well aware of who was driving the 24 car, and thats why he wasn't moving anywhere. I don't know why he thinks he's top dog. What kind of race would it be if everyone moved over for Jeff Gordon? Oh hell no, I'd make him fight for the position. This isn't the first time Jeff Gordon has said that. It went more like, "Does that driver not know who I am?" Wft.......???

Probably be more challenging for him than schooling these boys on the track.
By the way, is anyone watching the race, or you just like to hear something and not know what it was for?

He isn't being lazy. he's being impatient. You can drive around any track like your on a sunday drive. You've gotta go. And he knows that. i'm not a gordon fan, but what would you do if u just had a baby? and then had a hellish weekend becuz your team screwed up. he's mad, and excited to get home. honestly, if anything, he should have let mark martin step in for him today.
