Ok, I apologize in advance to Stewart fans if this offends you, I just have some questions/comments to some answers I've been seeing! I am entitled to my opinion, so please be polite!

Was it not Stewart who preached that drivers need to take it easy before someone gets hurt or someone else dies, that same race Stewart intentionally hit Kenseth (which could have caused a fatal accident)! Stewart fans didn't hold it against him! Many races later Gordon gets into Kenseth just racing (unproven to be intentionally) and people have a fit (many of which were Stewart fans)! Now a couple weeks later Stewart again uses his car as a weapon and knocks someone around in what could've been worse than it was also taking out an innocent bystander! All he gets is put a lap down, so he ended up getting on the lead lap in the end!

How can people say Edwards deserved worse of a penalty than Stewart? Although both were wrong, Stewart started the whole thing, either area could've caused injury!

NASCAR is a auto racing sport popular in the United States of America and especially in states such as North Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Virginia and the future NASCAR Hall of Fame will be built in Charlotte, North Carolina. I was wondering what countries outside the United States of America is NASCAR popular in.

Okay. Be mad at Tony Stewart, fine. But Stewart got punished, and Edwards retaliated on the track. Did he really have to threaten Stewart after the race, too? I think Stewart and Edwards both deserved their penalty, though I love Smoke. I wish the penalties were more consistent. And I don't like Edwards' smile or flips so much anymore.

I've noticed when i've been watching motorbike racing on the TV that when their not racing they wear silly looking sunglasses.. valentino rossi (motogp) is a good example of this as he wears big round ones.. lol

IMO There never has and never will be anyone better than Richard Petty , he didnt have to knock people out of the way , he didnt have to scare you into submission , he didnt have to intimidate , he just simply out drove you , im not trying to take anything away from #3 but my opinion is that Richard Petty was the greatest driver to sit behind the wheel , but i also grew up watching the likes of Junior Johnson , Cale Yarbrough , The Alabama Gang etc etc so maybe i look at it with a different perspective

Do you enjoy it when Stewart intentionally wrecks other drivers? If my driver was an intentional wrecker i would be ashamed and embarassed. I would have to switch to another driver.

He's only like 15 pts. out. First, his engine blows, then Dave Blaney spins him out! Neither was his fault, just a lot of bad luck. What do you think??

Yep, he was my fave Winston(it was Winston in 1971)Cup driver when I was a kid. My mom hated Cale and the fact that I was a fan would get her goat...her fave driver was Richard Petty. She always asked me why I liked such a 'dirty' driver like Cale supposedly was..I was also a fan of Dale Earnhardt later on. Both Cale Yarbourough and Dale Sr. went all-out to win...and that's why I liked them!

I'm a Chevy guy, and was born one, for reasons that I could go on and on about. They are just all around better. I don't want any of the "I'm a Chevy person but the only Ford I like is Mustangs". First, your not a true Chevy person if you like mustangs also, its like a Redsox fan saying he likes Derek Jeter but not the Yankees, you can't do it. Second, mustangs are now girls sports car, there second behind the new bug on the biggest girl car list.

...and how can this be considered a sport? Is the skill in the drivers seat or under the hood? If you like car racing so much, aren't there better races out there? Not into motor sports, but it seems like F1, Baha, Long distance, etc. is just so much cooler. No? Racers actually jockeying for position and required to have skill vs. 500 laps of slow cars going in an easy circle? Boring!!!

Who here thinks that NASCAR fights should be treated like a hockey fight. Once the drivers are out of their cars, should the officials let 'em go for a bit then break it up, or should fights be stopped before they start?
