I just bought a honda trx 450R will it hurt it to run it with out the sparkarestor?

I"ve been riding since I was 5. Everything from dirtbikes to quads. I ride alot at night and have NEVER seen a spark come out of the exhaust. If anything, in the long run, a spark arrester will do more harm then good. Take it off, but keep it in case you go riding on state land.

It won't hurt the bike, but it might hurt the forest!

IT WILL NOT HURT IT. BUT IT IS ILLEGAL TO REMOVE IT. IF YOU DO AND IT STARTS A FIRE YOU WILL PAY THE ENTIRE BILL TO PUT IT OUT, ALONG WITH THE FINE FOR REMOVING IT,THE ARSON CHARGES ECT.....
