Okay. Be mad at Tony Stewart, fine. But Stewart got punished, and Edwards retaliated on the track. Did he really have to threaten Stewart after the race, too? I think Stewart and Edwards both deserved their penalty, though I love Smoke. I wish the penalties were more consistent. And I don't like Edwards' smile or flips so much anymore.

I am in complete agreement with that. Tony has apologized and he certainly never meant to do any harm to Edwards. Carl is a lesser man for opening his mouth. I think Stewart took his penalty just like he deserved and still showed what a great racer he is by finishing 7th. I think Edwards is a big crybaby. In no way shape or form has Edwards apologized for retaliating and I think for his remarks after the race he should be fined

Let's see, Tony Stewart gets mad at a driver and turns down into him doing 170 miles an hour, that drivers car is bumped and rams into Carl Edwards car. And you in all of your non prejudicial wisdom are mad at Carl Edwards? If you want the penalty to fit the crime Tony Stewart should have been sent to the garage right then and there. Carl Edwards spund Tony when he was going a whopping 55 mph entering pit road. He didn't wreck Stewarts car like Stewart wrecked Edwards car.

They both were wrong, Stewart was aggressive driving and Edwards rataliated and shouldn't have! I think the starter should get a harder penalty though!

Gordon with the Kenseth thing was not proven to be intentional so it's different!

The thing about Edwards at least he only hurt himself and the person he was after! Stewart took out an innocent bystander, it could've been worse! You don't like Edwards smile or flips, but you still like Stewart? They both were wrong, but why choose the one who started it?

And another thing, Stewart caught back up after his penalty, Edwards couldn't because of the damage done to his car by Stewart!

I never have liked Carl Edwards. He's the one driver I absolutely cannot stand. There's just something about him that rubs me the wrong way. I think he's a little to full of himself. While I don't think what Stewart did was right, I do think it was uncalled for for him to tap Stewart like he did. NASCAR had already given Stewart his penalty (not a harsh enough one but at least he got one) and that should have been enough, but Carl seems to think he's above the NASCAR law. I mean look how many times this year alone he's had to go to the NASCAR trailer after a race. He needs to grow up and learn to accept that that's part racing.

No. I mean, Carl shouldn't have spun Tony on pit road. But Tony shouldn't have hit Clint, either. Tony runs into Clint at like 170 miles an hour. Okay, and unless I'm mistaken (which I don't think I am) Tony was preaching about "someone is going to get killed". He said that at the beginning of the year at Daytona, yet he continues to bump & crash other people! What if Carl or Clint got hurt? How would Tony feel then? So, no I'm not mad at Carl. But I can understand why Clint & Carl are so mad at Tony. Tony gets mad, and then he and others get in trouble for it. I don't like or dislike Tony, Clint, or Carl. But I think Tony needs to calm down. Also, no, Carl should not have said what he did.

I'm only mad that Carl didn't do more damage to the #20. As much as I think Tony is a great driver, his personality lately SUCKS!!!! Like it's okay for him to intentionally wreck people, but when he gets wrecked, he starts crying about how those drivers shouldn't even be on the track. If you're gonna dish it out, you'd better be able to take it as well.

I reckon payback's a B*tch. I'm not at all upset with Carl, in fact, It made me like him more, lol. I have never liked Tony anyways, so I guess that's why. Carl said that Tony gave him the finger which was uncalled for since Carl didn't do a thing to Tony, I don't blame Carl one bit. What makes me so mad about Tony, he never takes the blame for anything, He always puts the blame on someone else. Carl is alright in my book! :)

Tony should have been penalized more that going a lap down. He hit Bowyer doing almost 180 MPH. That there could have caused a serious injury. Edwards was just giving Steward a tap saying you're an a** for doing what you did out there.

All of them acted like big kids. No Tony shouldn't have spun Clint on the track. But at least the cars have safety equipment i.e roll bars, haans device and such. Edwards on the other hand did it on pit road where someone could have got hit and hurt. They all need to grow up !!!

I think its about time someone stood up to Tony Stewart and not let him get away with the BS he talks at every friggin race. Good for Clint & Carl and I'm glad they did what they did!
