He's only like 15 pts. out. First, his engine blows, then Dave Blaney spins him out! Neither was his fault, just a lot of bad luck. What do you think??

Oh, by the way. Party Dan, do you know what happened to Junior's dad?? He actually did die racing. It's not funny! :( It was horrible & I can't believe that you would wish that on someone!!!!!!!!

I think he will make the chase. In spite of what some have said..HE is not getting worse. Engine failure and someone spinning him out and causing him to crash in a wall....is not HIM getting worse and worse. THAT'S CIRCUMSTANCE.
He's good..he's got a good team..and he's got time..
He'll be in the chase.

I don't see how some people can be so cruel. Anyways though, I believe Jr will make the chase, atleast I hope he does. I hate that he has had 2 bad weeks in a row, and Blaney wrecking him really made me angry, because he doesn't even have a chance at the chase! Hopefully Jr can have a good finish at the brickyard and atleast get back in the top 10!

Well he's fallen all the way from second to out of the chase in two races.In racing luck always has a part to play be it good or bad,and Dale Jr has definitely has his share of bad luck the last two weeks.I would like to see him make the chase and it wouldn't bother me to see him win it all.But for that to happen he is going to have to run good and stay out of trouble.Like he said after his crash today he didn't have a great car, but when your just riding around and get run over what can you really do to prevent that ,not much.I think he is capable of making the chase if he can just catch a hold of some good luck.

I don't know, it will be really hard after yesterday. He will need a huge turn around and a big reversal of his luck.
I can't believe someone would make that remark about him dying on the track, his Dad died on the track and Jr. was racing with him that day. You are a cold, heartless, rude jerk. I'm not a Jr. fan but I don't want to see any driver injured or killed.
Some people sure spend a lot of time on here worrying about Rednecks!

With the way things are looking right now, he may not make the Chase. Kurt Busch is the one with momentum and he just may overtake Dale Jr in the standings. Also, in order for him to make the Chase another driver will have to all out.

He can come back. He has had a good car this year. Maybe this week off is what him and his crew all need. Just a nice break from it all. Provided no more car screw ups I believe he'll do fine. He's been racing great all year on tracks that he usually doesn't fair that well on so I still have faith in him.

I don't have anything against Jr.,but I don't think he wil make the Chase.I know yesterday's wreck wasn't reall his fault,but I think his team lacks the consistency right now to make the Chase.

Yes! I think he is just on a bad luck streak! I wouldn't rule him out just yet! Honestly, I think Jr.'s motivation is his fans, so of course they want him in the chase, so he should be able to pull it off!
