Auto Racing - July 2006

Why is it whenever someone asks a question pertaining to Nascar a majority of the people answering are only idiots saying that Nascar is not a sport or is only a "redneck sport". If you people feel that way about Nascar why do you even bother reading the questions or trying to answer them?

In NASCAR races, the fan base is primarily caucasian, and not African American, Asian American, etc. Why is that? Most sports have a more diverse fan base. Thoughts?

I love NASCAR & I don't know why people say "it's just a group of cars going around in circles!" There are ROAD COURSES! And, yes, most of the tracks are ovals, but it's more complicated than "a bunch of cars going around in circles!" I'd like to see some of the NASCAR haters try to drive a race car @ 200 m.p.h.!
