NASCAR fans...what would you say or do to those idiots, especially the haters who CLAIM we're all uneducated trailer-trash losers?

I would probably walk away, because they're the ones that are ignorant....if I did stuff like name calling or insults I'd be stooping down to their level...

People are so ignorant and incredibly aggressive with their hatred of a sport...in this case, NASCAR. In my opinion, the sport is amazing and couldn't be better if they tried, but others may think otherwise. I wouldn't say I'd love it if somebody said nascar was horrible, because I don't think it's that fun or gratifying to argue with people about it...however, I would 100 percent stand up for my favorite sport if somebody dislikes it! In fact, a lot of my friends and peers think it's very odd of me to like the sport. Most don't say rude things about it to my face...but others have. It's annoying that people feel comfortable doing it. I think people have this association with redneck-ism and think that nascar promotes that whole redneck "lifestyle" which is crazy. First of all, do you think those famous and rich drivers like Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, or Jimmie Johnson are rednecks? Of course they aren't! Same goes for the fans. They are just normal people who love the sport...so there! NASCAR haters don't want to believe that nascar is a sport for EVERYBODY to get into...it has to be only "rednecks." That's the argument I often stir up...when I calmly explain why nascar is cool. I don't even say it's the BEST sport...I just want people to give it a chance. When that fails, then I just walk away. People who can't DEAL with the fact I like nascar can just go to **** in my opinion...they aren't anything special anyway!

Most of them wouldn't have the set to actually do it. If they did, I'd have to laugh.. One thing people should know about the NASCAR community. Don't cross them, don't tick them off, and don't insult them or their driver..

Gotta agree with you there!! Some people just don't get it! (I used to be one of them til my hubby took me to a race...now I am hooked!)
If someone told me I was uneducated, trailer trash and a loser, I would probably punch them in the nuts(if it was a man).
