There is not going to be one this year. The Vancouver Indy left Vancouver a couple years ago. Edmonton now hosts it instead.

Vancouver Indy is no more. The rumor goes that CART officials were worried about blowouts caused by junkie's needles, but actually it had more to do with sponsorship issues. Also the city is very much focused on the 2010 Olympics, so city hall just didn't see it as a priority. Who knows-maybe it will be back after 2010.

Vancouver has been declared a "NO FUN ZONE" and therefore, unless you find eating granola and hugging trees fun, there will be no more INDY or any other fun things to do in the city.
