baseball player/golden glove boxer murdered around 1963?

i posted the first question in a hurry with some REALLY bad math. so here we go again. Can you help me find the name of a golden glove boxer/pro baseball player that was murdered around 1963?
i was adopted. i recently recieved information about my birth mother. nothing is known about the father. the only way i can find out her name is by signing up with a registery and hoping she does the same. however it does say that 16 days before she was born her father was murdered. it also says he was a pro baseball player and a golden gloves boxer. i was born in 1981 and it says she was 18. if anyone can help i would appreciate it. i figured with this info it wouldnt be too hard. but google isnt helping me all that much. i dont have a personal computer so it is hard for me to research all that much. thank you for your time. oh yeah he was white.

Olympic Athlete gets Meniscus tear. Have questions?

I am 99% sure I've just had a mild meniscus tear. I've got an MRI scan scheduled for early next week.

I was doing quick squats and my knee collapsed and I think that is where the injury occurred. I was lifting lightweights trying to recondition because I haven't been well conditioned since I stop training after the February Olympic Games in Torino.

My problem is that I'd due to compete on the World Cup circuit in my sport in late November.

Question 1:- For those that have arthroscopy how long until you are fully fit again and have full range of motion? And does the post-op cause you to loose any speed or power?

Question 2: Who is the best knee surgeon in your area. Or the best knee surgeon in your country?

I need Fantasy Football leauge trophy Ideas.?

On Espn the leauge comissioner can create virtual trophies to give out to the leauge. I need Ideas for trophies. So far I have the Mel Kiper Award (Best Draft), MVP Award ( team with the player with the most fantsy points), and the John Madden Award ( Leauge Championship trophy).
