i post the first question in a hurry with some REALLY bad math. so here we go again. Can you help me find the name of a golden glove boxer/pro baseball player that was murdered around 1963?
i was adopted. i recently recieved information about my birth mother. nothing is known about the father. the only way i can find out her name is by signing up with a registery and hoping she does the same. however it does say that 16 days before she was born her father was murdered. it also says he was a pro baseball player and a golden gloves boxer. i was born in 1981 and it says she was 18. if anyone can help i would appreciate it. i figured with this info it wouldnt be too hard. but google isnt helping me all that much. i dont have a personal computer so it is hard for me to research all that much. thank you for your time.

No matches in 1963 but maybe the info you were given was off by a few years. Check this link out.

I think I need more information. Do you know where she was born? Or her exact date of birth? It's probably going to end up being more of a regional thing. If you can find out where and when, you can call a library in that area and ask them to go through old newspapers or something and they might be able to find some more information for you.
Are you sure it said Golden Gloves boxer? There's also a Gold Glove award in baseball. (Not to be confused with baseball's Gold Glove Award award for excellent defensive players.)
I'd be willing to look more into it if you have any more information.

Here's the official site for Golden Gloves of America
http://www.goldenglovesofamerica.com/
They list winners going back that far, but if you know nothing about his name, or whether he won, it may not help. There is a "contact us" link, so if you get in touch with them, maybe they can help you out.

Was he in the Major League or ***** League?
Here's the MLB history pages:
http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/history/index.jsp
This site you can see who died on a particular day of the year, but you can't search by year. Maybe you can contact them and they can help you get that information:

I wish you luck with your search.
