I an a junior and this year I got captain of my varsity cheerleading squad! The only problem is that i dont know alot about football and i need to know about it so that i can cheer for it. My past years i just cheered when the older girls did, and now I'm one of the older girls soo i kinda need to know the concepts and stuff about football quick!!! Can anyone please help me?

I feel very sad for him. It was a bad World Cup for him because Domenech didn't let him play much and then he was the only one to miss in the penalty shootout in the final. He's a good player who just had really bad luck. When I saw him crying, it broke my heart.

I never watch auto racing but as I was flipping through the channels there was a race and the yellow flag was up, which I'm pretty sure means the drivers can't change position since they were all following one car. However almost all of the cars were swerving back and forth, which makes no apparent sense because it is an unefficient use of energy and fuel and wears the tires, and second of all because they weren't supposed to gain ground or switch positions while their was an accident on the track. What is the benefit to this sideways swerving?

I've set myself the biggest physical challenge of my life! I'm going to Swim the Channel! OK, I'm not putting on the goose grease and going to Dover but I am attempting to swim the 22 miles in my swimming pool in Crediton, Devon!

It's for a charity called ASPIRE who work for people with Spinal Injuries so it's for a good cause. I also need to do something to help me get fit. When I was last weighed at the Doctors I was 16 stone! I really need to lose some of that weight!

The pool at Crediton is small so 22 miles means I only have to 1408 lengths!!! As I am far from fit I plan to do this sensibly over approx. 10 weeks (the challenge lasts for 12 weeks between Sept 11th and Dec 3rd).

So let me know if you are doing the Swim or if you have any helpful tips, or words of encouragement! If you are interested I'll keep you posted on my progress through Y!A

I know that every pond is different, but I've heard from alot of people that to practice try fishing a golf course pond. At first I thought it was all a joke, but I've read a number of bass articles talking about this as well. Do anglers go up and ask the course if there are fish in the ponds? What would make a golf course want to put bass in their ponds to begin with?I'm getting very curious and would like to fish my local course. Please give me some information on this.

I am looking to buy a kayak, and have found a dealer locally that has a tandem, sit on top but I don't have any opinions about the kayak. I plan on using it as a fishing kayak, solo, and as a way to hang out with friends (unexperienced kayakers) Any pros or cons about this kayak? Thanks! Eileen
