I feel very sad for him. It was a bad World Cup for him because Domenech didn't let him play much and then he was the only one to miss in the penalty shootout in the final. He's a good player who just had really bad luck. When I saw him crying, it broke my heart.

Val: What are you talking about, and what does it have to do with Trezeguet?

Germmy: Yes, Euro 2000 he scored the winning goal against Italy and World Cup 1998 he made his penalty kick in the shootout against Italy as well. You are right, sometimes there is joy and sometimes there is sorrow, that is football, and that is life.

David Trezeguet, a great striker of world & his club & France team is one of my favorite players & my heart broked like u when I saw my favorite player's eyes r full of tears. But I told to myself that he is a great player & by having bad luck or being under the stress or some thing else he shouldnt be so unhappy! He must have hope cuz it suddenly happend & finished but his fans(like me) always support him & by just lossing a penalty we never forget his brilliant playing!I wish the best for him!

I know how you feel. I felt the same sadness when Italy was leading vs France in Euro Cup (1998?) and Trezeguet scored the winning goal in overtime. What goes around, comes around...it's all part of the game. We laugh, we cheer, we cry, we mourn.

Trezeguet is a world class striker normally. He has had a rough season and looks a little lethargic at times. I think he needs a fresh start maybe at an english team. Trezeguet should be scoring at least 20goals a season, he is great in the air and in the 18yard box

We only have feelings of sadness, how about him? He must still have nightmares. He is a great player just as Roberto Baggio was even though he missed a penalty kick in 1994 against Brasil.
