i was happy that they won and not France..but i wanted Portugal to win the cup.

I wanted Argentina to win, but unfortunately they didn't make it to the final. So in the final Italy vs. France I wanted Italy to win.

Well, I rooted for Argentina first, but once they were out I rooted for the only remaining South American team (Brazil), and once *they* were out, I rooted for Italy, since they're family. XD I was very happy when Italy beat Germany and also celebrated when they beat France. I wouldn't have minded some more goals, though.

I didn't, I wanted Germany to win, then I was heartbroken when Italy got lucky and scored in the 119th minute. In the final, I wanted France to win, but when Trezeguet missed in the penalty shootout and France lost to Italy too, the tears came to me again.

France was playing a better game and with a man down. Italy won because of their dirty tactics, not that it's uncommon for most teams to play that way (France's first goal). I hate when games like that go to penalties, because it doesn't really show who is the better team, just who is better at spot kicks.

I wanted Italy to win and they did! They were the best team and they proved it even without their big time player Nesta.

I did, because i am a conservative and hate the french! but italy played a great team cup, had a great goalie, and i love italians. but the heatbutt was kinda cool
