Does anyone agree that David Beckham should lose the England Captaincy to Stevie G? When Sweden equalised Beckaham ran around like a headless chicken shouting at people. When Gerrard came on he controlled the midfield AND scored. In my book if you don't captain your club you shouldn't be captaining your country.
Oh and if anyone thinks Beckham had a good game because of the cross for Gerrards goal it was the only decent cross he put in all evening.

Who would yo say is the best? IMO Gerrard. Lampard only looks good because of the players around him. Joe cole or Makelele for example. whenever lampard makes a mistake (which is often if you watch chelsea) makelele is there to pick up the pieces. But Gerrard has made Liverpool what they are today. Scored against Olympiakos to send us through the champs league. scored to get us going against probably the best team in the world at the time AC Milan in the best cup final EVER! and then again in the FA Cup Final & look at the two goals he has scored this world cup. he hasnt had half as many chances as lampard either so Just what has Lampard done to equal Gerrard for club or country.

So who do actually think will win the world cup this year? IMO if England can get to the final then i'm 90% sure we WILL win it but at the moment i'm backing Argentina and Spain to be there.

Does anybody else think that Steven Gerrard is the best midfielder in the world at the moment? Just look at what he has done for Liverpool for the past 3 seasons and when he comes on the pitch for england he controls the play. Truly great player and captain. Soon to be a legend! dont you agree?

I personally think everyone is underestimating the Ecuadorians. They're a good, hungry team and England have been really lacklustre so far in the tournament.

Is everyone going to jump on WADES bandwagon now or is Lebron still considered the best player from that draft (Lebron, Carmello, Wade) I think if Lebron would of just had one of those veteran players he would of had his ring this year. The Heat is a team built with a lot of superstars. I still rank Wade behind Lebron and Kobe how do you rank Wade? I'm not a Wade hater I just think there are 2 better players than him right now in the NBA.
