(Or a non-Christian religion)

Which is more important to you and your identity, your faith or your nation? Either? Neither? What, if anything, do you feel your answer says about your commitment to either?

Note: I'm not saying there is no way to strike a balance, nor judging any answers. This is an absolute question, and I understand the world rarely operates on absolute terms, but please stay within the bounds of the question.

YES:
Were you raised to believe in God?
If not, how did you come to your religion?

No:
Were you raised to believe in god?
Did you used to believe in god?

**This question is not meant to provoke anyone, I'm just really interested in the answers*

Give me 1 objective reason for the preservation of life that isn't your OPINION?
- If you can't, then be Hitler was completely justified in killing Jews, and did nothing wrong because: A) He legally had them declared non-humans and B) Had the concensus of the German people that it was OK.

OBJECTIVE vs. SUBJECTIVE:
Objective judgements and claims are assumed to be free from personal considerations, emotional perspectives, etc. Subjective judgements and claims are assumed to be heavily (if not entirely) influenced by such personal considerations.

NOTE: U.S. law is based on inalienable rights embued by the creator, so you can't use LAW, as it is based on the idea that God gave everyone inalienable rights and it would be hypocritical to base your answer on something you don't believe in.

Would you ever drink cyanide for Christ?

Mark 16:17-18

"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Is there no such thing as a real Christian (meaning one who could drink cyanide) or is this part wrong and/or fictional?

1. Painting, poetry, music etc.? If we are simply evolved from primates why do we feel the need to express ourselves inthese ways? They do not seem to have anyhting to do with survival or what is helpful to the species.

2. Isn't everything we do natural? Since we are animals and products of nature isn't everything we do natural then? For instance is an apartment building any less natural than a beehive or a beaver dam? Would they not produce all the things that humans do given the ability to do so ?

3. The Big Bang theory is full of holes. For example:A.If the Universe was all once gas and dust from where did this material come and why would it spontaneously start to condense and then explode? B. What are the boundaries of the Universe and what is beyond it ? Were there others before and are there others outside of it ? Why are there any natural laws, such as physics at all ? Why is there any order?

call me what you will, anything but weak! eternal life hahaha. salvation. he's going to be mad at me, he's going to send me to hell, oh my g**. such nonsense. IGNORANT would mean lack of intelligence. well holy pants, what intelligence have you that proves that your g** does exist? wait, i know, you can feel him, you know he's there. right! like i previously stated, without heaven and hell god has no value. most of my answers were eternal life, afterlife this and eternal happiness. someone even said it's all about happiness in the afterlife, (heaven) that my happiness here n now does'nt matter. this is just a test. you are absolutely right, a test to see whose crazy or not. what seperates god from santa clause? they both teach the same lesson, be good and reap my rewards or else no happy happy for you.sad thing, the kids eventually grow out of it. shame on you goddies. word of advice, just because you believe something does not make it true. UNDERSTAND!!!!

christians (and most religions) tend to be very strong in their faith. what do you consider your personal (or international) proof that god (or a god) exists. Here are the answers i'm NOT looking for:
The Bible says so
My priest says so
-anything rude, crude, or inappropriate-
It's my belief, respect it
I can feel his presence in my heart (etc)
Or anything else that wouldn't hold any weight for non- believers

Just something scientific or of that sort. I don't mean to be rude i really just want someone's perspective on this

If I told you I was Jesus (2nd coming) would you believe me ?

If not, then where is your Faith ? Do you need proof ? Why ?

Pointless and optional because you don't have to be baptized to get into Heaven. Jesus himself allowed the thief on the cross to enter Paradise. Faith alone is what's required for salvation.

A vital part of Christian life, because Jesus not only set the example, but commanded it.

Say What?

Outward sign of inward commitment, so what, vitally doing nothing to gain salvation. Circular reasoning...please, oh please explain this.

I'm thinking about Mike Huckabee and just waiting for the call upwards. I cry a lot, with tears of joy. Soon, I will be playing doubles tennis in heaven with Bjorn Bjorg!!!!
