If someone (pope or priest from church) from today's world come up with a new bible and convince you with their words just like John, mathew or Luke that they are with the holy spirits while writing the Bible, then how many of you will be convinced with them?

If you are not convinced then why you got convinced with previous persons?

I just want to know whether our religion is becoming commercial now-a-day. Art of living Rs 500 ; Sahaja samathi yoga Rs 750 ; Transidental meditation Rs 500 ; Sahaja stithi yoga Rs 750 etc., How can a poor hindu then learn mediation ? My aim is not to hurt anybody, but want to know are we on the right path ?

I think that we have wasted 2000 years on Soul-salvation when we should be focused on soul development. The same goes for Jesus - Should we wait on Jesus or be Jesus? I think the moral to the story was to walk as Jesus and do Gods work on earth - not to sit around and wait for him. What do you think???

my boyfriend for almost a year...im waiting to be married, i bring him to church & bible study, my mom talked to him about being saved & he prayed but he didnt know what it meant so he wasnt saved, but on sunday after church 2 weeks ago my dad talked to him, he was crying and he prayed again, he said he felt different. Wed he bought me and engagement ring, and he said he prayed that God would give him the strength to tell me about stuff that he was lieing to me about. (i didn't know he was lieing) Thursday he got in a really bad car accident and had to get medivaced to the hospital so he gave me his phone to hold & call his parents. while i was waiting in the er his phone rang so i answered it to let people know that he was hurt, instead i found out the turth about him having a drug problem, still hung out with his ex, flirted w/girls? i broke up w/ him but is it stupid of me to want to wait 4 God to change him? This sunday he came to church on his own. Hes only been saved 2 weeks.

the sign on the jewish shop on coatsworth road near where i live read the allocated times for the bochurim to shop at dansky and sten house are ( list of times) the kehilla shopkeeepers and bochurim are asked to cooperate to help fulfil this ( hebrew or yiddish word)

the other sign in stenhouse bakery read any property left for longer than 30 days will become hefker and be disposed of.

i hope someone can explain these terms

Are they afraid they will end up there? I am more concerned about Heaven. Where in the Bible does it actually say that Heaven is real. Real not just some fantasy dream la la land of eternity?

It's not just this, it's the whole matter of double standards, or Is it just because it's an "Isamic" thing then it has to be wrong?

The "Moon God" story was just one of the failed attempt to drive people away from this religion, but when you study it carefully, you'll see that it is a purely monotheistic religion, not unlike Judaism.

Ok I will be flat out, and I am so sorry for saying this.
I am Muslim, only room in the house I can pray is my own room.
In this Room, always before I watch bad videos * porn* ( So sorry for porn word).
How can I pray in this room if I have done this, I have no where to pray but my room, also , i will feel wierd praying in this room, because of that.
