If I ask ten people if they believe Mars and Venus are real deities they just look at me funny and say something like "No, of course not. What are you, crazy?". If I ask another ten people if they believe Jesus died for their sins approximately eight of them will say they do.

Propbably, when you read this, you found this an idiotic statement. But why is it so strange? Believers tend to say " heathen religions" such as Roman and Greek mythology make no sense. But why not? What ever proved them wrong? As a matter of fact, what ever proved Buddhism wrong, or the Jewish beliefs? What proves the Quran wrong and the Bible right?

Why can't Christians see that they only believe what they want to believe? Why do they so narrow-mindedly think anything good happening is a sign from God? And why do they interpret the Bible literally, except for the parts that say the earth is flat and the earth is the center of the universe? I call that selective reading in the so called "ultimate truth".

Throughout history (and even today) religion has been corrupted and used to evil profit. What ways would ensure that religion be left pure and untainted? Consider though that you do not want to start outlawing or restraining beliefs, because then you would be committing an act just as bad as establishing and enforcing beliefs.

You don't want to be an idol worshipper. J.C. didn't want you to worship idols. Many many times J.C. could have said that he was God. Instead always he said things like, "not my will but thine Lord." If he were God it would have been the same will. When you go to the Bible with a slanted point of view, that's what you're going to get. Just be honest and unbiased. Many pagan religions at the time of Christ had a sun god that had a mother. Constantine ushered this pagan belief into Christianity using his political influence. Study history, the Trinity wasn't "a part" of Christianity until many many years after the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. who never claimed to be God, only at one(in heart)with Him, and the Bible says that we the disciples are one with them also, so does this make us God?

and suggested I report it. They did this the last time my clone did it, and that worked. How pathetic is that thing? She knows that people know it's not me, and she keeps doing it. Same goes for Terry G and Susan J. Why does that fundie christian not even respect the religion she claims to be a part of? Educated people know Christianity does not allow this, so why does she do this, along with making up IDs like ex muslim cowgirl and former muslim girl?

And if God was also the alpha and omega, what is the purpose of Judgement Day? Especially when God had already pre-destinied each individual who shall remain with him and those who are condemned. Why is it that it is mentioned in the Good Books that he gave us human a choice? After all, the choice given, whether right or wrong, were all 'pre-destinated'. What's the point to have a choice anyway?

Christians and Muslims believe in the return of Christ, Hindus believe in the new reincarnation of Vishnu and Buddhists believe in the coming of Ananda-Maitreya. Nostradamus mentioned of a 'Great Genius'. They all have something in common. However, does anyone know who is this person really is and when time comes, what would the world be like to accomodate this 'coming' of a great man? What do the Jews have to say?

Please be sirous when answering this question...
Non-Muslims lived in peace for centuries in Muslims Lands they were respected (Not accepted)......in the Quran and Sunnah there are quiet eough rulling regarding the treatment of non-Muslim...did you hear about this Vers from Quran:
Allaah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes”

[al-Mumtahanah 60:8]

So Allaah tells us that He does not forbid us to deal justly and kindly with those kaafirs who are not fighting us and who have not driven us out of our homes, or with those who are in urgent need of help.

How can you explain that many Muslim countries have minorities of non-Muslims lived in peace for many and many years..

May Allah Guid You All to the Right Path

Who is like unto the beast and who can make war with him?

Will the liberals keep us from retaliating because a group not a country is at fault, actually a religion?

Will the next day after the bombing, will the Muslims post pictures of Muslim women and children and say "Oh don't harm us, we didnt do it." Even though our women and children, like in 9/11 were killed? It's ok for them to kill our women and children, we are the "great satan", but they are poor peaceful islam.
