You might find the Belief-O-Matic quiz over at Beliefnet.com helpful:

It's fun, and it matches you up with a wide variety of religions and philosophies based on your answers, with write-ups for each one. The results can be very surprising.

i say make a list of everything you Do believe in, and then a list of everything you are confused about. Then ask a priest, regular ppl, whomever you want and read about different religions and beliefs and then finally, by yourself, decide on what your views are on each. As for liking fantasy stories thats all well and good, but thats just it, they're fantasy. So if you are trying to find out what your 'religion/beliefs' are, it will be hard to 'classify' everything you believe and dont believe into one, set, docturine. So make a second educated list, trust in that, and that will be your religion/belief, and then just go with.

Hey It is confusing. I think inside you can't deny that there are certain truths. If you see two mormon missionaries ask them for a book of Mormon it is the second book of scriptures they believe in plus the Bible. It is free so no problem getting one. Then read the book called 2 Nephi Chapter 2. It talks exactly about right and wrong and how we can know if that means threre really is a God or not

The lead in the source field may give you an idea of the Creator. If there is evil in our society, there is injustice. Similarly if there is goodness in our society, there is reward. Punishment for injustices and reward for good deeds are often not appropriate or befitting. As a human we still have to be on our good deeds because there is an after world where everybody will be given his or her befitting rewards or punishments according to his or her deeds in this life.

Life in the after world i.e., in the absolute reality as I call it, will be eternal or never ending. Those who among us will be successful being on good deeds will be in eternal pleasure. Evil will not be able to touch us anymore there as it happens in this world. We are constantly tested to reveal our inner nature.

Religion is a restricted word rather we would call it, 'the way of life'. Our way of life covers every part of our life. By living of our life we will not only learn how to be righteous but also we will deliver the good deeds in every sphere of our works to disperse the evil.

How we will learn? We will learn from the uncorrupted heavenly book, the Quran and use the help of a mentor to show us how in our real day of life we would do the good deeds including the remembrance of the Absolute Creator.

As the Absolute Creator is the only One and Unique, He has ordained for us, the people and gene, the only way of life as revealed in the uncorrupted heavenly books. Quran rejuvenates them. It is us who has created many ways of life and corrupted His heavenly words. Therefore, we will also have to save ourselves from such corruptions and fantasies.

If there is no afterworld and there is no reward and punishment in that world for our deeds in this world, then there is no meaning of this life. We will only be mud or dust or compost. Fortunately there is an after world, which is the reality.

This is in brief.

hei dude...read this carefully..a normal human must have faith on believing god...if they refused to,and that is what happen to you..try to read some psychological books, research had proven that almost 90% 'sick' people had cured after they get back to their religion or find a new religion to believe in...human believe in good and evil but u gotta know something too..human logical sense could not explain everything...science too..this is the moment when spirituality and faith took part in your life...spirituality,religion and psychology complete each other...you cannot hold to one of it and let go the others..people who didnt believe in god and the life after it will get confused when their heart fighting for something that their body and mind refused to accept, which is faith and believe in the god and other things...my advice, back to your religion..go into it..learn about it...if your religion couldnt give u the answers and satisfaction, make a research on other religion and compare them to fulfill your heart requirement..you have soul, when u disbelieve it, u are trying to separate a part of u..and if u separate yourself, u will be incomplete..i am so proud with my religion...though i've once lost my faith on it, i keep on finding it, even in other religion just to stay calm and peace...i compare and i search for the missing, and i've found it..i hope u will too..sometimes, you just got to know it better...all the best...btrw, u are not secular humanist...u just lost something...

I don't honestly think your going to get good answeres here.

This place is a lot of fun, but I don't feel it's teh best place for you if your uncertain.

You need to find a good priest in your religion and talk to him. But make it someone you don't know.

There is Magick in this world, but don't go looking for it right now. Stick to what you know.

Look don't look to us to tell you what religion you are, and if worst comes to worst, don't worry about it. You don't need to attach a "religion" to your beliefs to feel better. You have your own conceptions of spirituality, you will not fall right in line with any religion.

There is good (Jesus Christ) and evil (Satan and his demons). The battle is great - this is what it says in the Bible - "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:12

The movies you watch will confuse you, because their source of power is NOT of God, but of Satan. This creates an open door for them (Satan and his demons) to lie to you my friend.

Ask the Lord to give you truth - it will set you free and give you peace.

just because you do not believe in something, say the Golden Gate Bridge - does not mean that it does not exist

I believe God is as real as the GGB - and I have seen neither

If you don't believe in a god, then you're not religious. You can be spiritual but not religious, you know.
