human beings! We remain the same! What else?

First to answer the question: if the resurrection of Jesus was a hoax, nothing will come of us. Those of us who are Christians would have lived better lives than we had to to get by.

I hate the word "if" used in this context, but that's just me being me...

Let's see what we know before we come to any conclusions about the resurrection.

The tomb was sealed with a huge rock that weighed around a ton. The tomb had the Roman seal stamped on it, so anyone who tried to open the tomb woud be signing their death warrants. The tomb was guarded by a group of well-trained soldiers who, if they were to fall asleep at their post, would be executed.

We also know from records that bodies to be entombed were wrapped in around a hundred pounds of myrrh gum, other herbs, and cloth.

At first, it seems improbable that a hoax could have even been pulled off.

The same as if it wasn't a hoax. There are only two things, as I see it. Either we die and that is that, or we are spirit beings which never die but are resurrected either here on earth or somewhere else. Why are you hurting up my brain so early in the morning? (smile). Pretty complex isn't it. This is a very good, if complex question though, and I would like to see tons of answers to this one.

there is no way Anyone can prove that Jesus did not get resurrected!
as a son of an athiest, humanist, secular-mother, When i prayed and beheld an angel appear in my room i knew at the age of 15 or 16 that there was a God, even if that angel was satan himself.
but when I continued to believe, and later in life I beheld a vision of Jesus christ in the glory of the sun of righteousness, I have no doubt that Jesus was not only resurrected in the flesh, but the resurrected body of flesh and bone is also a resurrected body of spirit. spirit and flesh and bone together, united for eternity.

Don't think about whether it's truth or a hoax. Just live your life as if the Resurrection is fact! Then, how can you go wrong.

If your referring to the documentary:

The tomb bears the names Jesus, Mary and Joseph and one of the caskets even bears the title, "Judah, son of Jesus," hinting that Jesus may have had a son. But scientists argue the names were extremely common during that time period, and in no way prove the Jesus buried at the site was Jesus Christ.

Another researcher whose work has focused on the Middle East, biblical anthropologist Joe Zias, has dismissed Cameron's claims as "dishonest".

"It has nothing whatsoever to do with Jesus, he was known as Jesus of Nazareth, not Jesus of Jerusalem, and if the family was wealthy enough to afford a tomb, which they probably weren't, it would have been in Nazareth, not here in Jerusalem," he said.

He said the appearance of the names proved nothing. When researching our genealogy I found thousands of men with my exact First, middle, and last name.

If Jesus died and was not resurrected, we will die and not be resurrected.

Someone in Hollywood claims that Jesus did not resurrect and that he has the proof, he knows which grave has the body of Jesus. I say, don't believe that nonsense.

However, as much as people try to convince us that is the way it is, I have not accepted it.

Jesus was resurrected or He could not be in my heart today.

Don't try to be misled by some ignorant thinkers. Think what is life and why is there death! Perhaps, you may wonder why lower forms of animals are not civilized and monkeys are still monkeys and did not evolve to be humans. Lower forms of animals have distinct sounds and speech; we have distinct written linguistic symbols, but our deaf and dumb are being grouped by one sign language.

No. The dead shall arise someday; some to the first resurrection, while others to the second.

How do the "experts" intend to prove that the tomb found is that of Jesus Christ? I don't need physical evidence to alter my faith one way or the other. I will always believe in Jesus Christ and His resurrection. Believe what you will, and let the chips fall where they may.
