I don't think so that they're hated, when I started to read the questions and answers here, I found out that Christianity is widely hated but Islam was really like widely liked, in here people call us mean, arrogant, retards etc I'm very sick and tired of these offending questions and answers about Christianity being very bad. So why is Christianity widely hated?

What I find strange is that we are forced to existance and then are made to be held accountable for our sins. If we were left in the unborn state, then none of these problems would have arised. Why not have a third option after death which is going back to nothingness? In my opinion, I feel that returning to the unborn state is much better than an afterlife in heaven. I guess thats why Buddhism fits so well with me because of this issue.

i know this won't really ever happen but let's pretend. let's pretend that moderate/liberal "red letter" Christians schismed from the Fundies, completely separated themselves from the embarassment of being associated (by the lable "Christian") with a bunch of hatefilled, bigoted fantatics ... what could the new Christianity be called? ... something distinct indicating the concept's unique newness.

Hey people, Just concentrate and try to know that our book HOLY QURAN always try to teach the BEST things in the planet not Worst as you thinking.
Lets the missunderstanding:- KAFIR " what is that mean- who deny is called kafir" such as if I had sugar and some one bring to me tea then i can sy him I am a KAFIR of Sugar. Thats the real men in QURAN too. KAFIR means who deny the command of GOD or Prophets. However they muslims or from any cast.
Now- "JEHAD" - that means Do what Prophet mohammad and his family member say- ya its actual means and Today there is no question to do JEHAD
coz When our IMAM(12th) will come only he will order to JEHAD not any one.
so , Try to understand what is ISLAM then tell any things.
ISLAM ZINDABAAD
HUMANITY ZINDABAAD
TERRORISM MURDABAAD
INDIA ZINDABAAD

Often we heard that God gave us the intelligence to solve the problems by our own. But when trouble comes to us and with all the intelligence we have, we still pray for God to help us, to choose for us, to protect us and to save us. Yet, the human itself is the one who can help, choose, protect and save themselves. Are we loosing faith when trouble comes? Or isit that we are too dependent on God to show us the way?

Believe it or not, I don't think I would.

I just cannot stomach this "deal" that the Christians claim their god has setup with humans.

The idea that I have to obey some invisible being, or think in a way other than I am naturally inclined, in order to be entitled to a reward when I die is repulsive to me, even if that being is responsible for everything.

current socity is governed by science. from ATM machine to Computer screen. From vegetable farm to kitchen...everywhere its the simple and complicated science theories. Non of those books have not helped the mankind to achive this level. We are now seeking other planets and travelling outer space. The question is - why we still spoonfed our children with old traditional stuff? sorry about poor grammer or spelling.

This is a question for my religious studies course, and for some reason the wording is throwing me off and I can't grasp what they're asking me to look for. I am lost. This is a class about the transliteration of the hebrew bible from hebrew into english. Dealing with the way things in the bible are interpreted/misinterpreted. If that helps or not I'm not sure, but any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is a fun one-

Given: Jesus = God. God = Omnipotent. God = knows everything that will ever happen.

So following this logic, even as a 2 minute old "infant", Jesus knew that he was going to get nailed to the cross. Seeing as Jesus=God, and God is immortal, the crucifixtion could not have possibly killed Jesus.

Can you honestly consider this to be a sacrifice when
a) he knew it was coming the work around way before he was born...
b) knew that he could not possibly be harmed, much less killed by it...
c) made up the entire plan himself to reopen the gates of heaven to get his believers back in (guess he was getting lonely?)

How can you possibly consider this a sacrifice?
