I believe Christianity, I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, and I believe in a literal 6 day creation.
But I also believe in genetic variation and adaptation, commonly called "micro-evolution".
This is not the same thing as "macro-evolution", which is the change of one type of creature to another. That is an entirely different matter. Micro-evolution is only variation within a type of creature, and is an observed and true phenomenon (look at all the different breeds of dogs). It's a fact that genes can change through mutation over time. It is not a fact that these changes can transform one type of creature into a completely new type of creature. Micro-evolution is completely compatable with most creationist theories and beliefs.

you can believe what you want- that does not make it true. I think that the ZBible answers these questions well and evolution does not. 50 people can tell you 50 different things. You need to pray, use God's word and His discernment. It is completely okay to say 'I don't know' A lot of stuff is made up because people cannot humble themselves to say these three words. Here is the deal though, the most important question you will ever have to answer is "who do you say that Jesus is?" all the other stuff is interesting but not important- one can receive understanding from the Holy Spirit but if they don't - it does not matter- it is not important and can often do nothing more than give an excuse for division and debate- don't stress over it- but study your word and if it is important for oyu to know the answers , pray and God will give you wisdom
He gives wisdom to all who ask!

Yes you can without incurring Gods wrath.
Something needs to be created before it can change(evolve). And there is a lot of missing or glossed over history in the Bible that can be filled in by Evolution after the Creation. And things like ADAM and EVE being the first created Humans on the Earth when they met other tribes outside of the GARDEN of EDEN when they were exiled. Who or what made these other tribes and how long had they been in existence before ADAM and EVE.

Sure, you can be a creation-evolutionist, but beware, creationists will tell you are wrong and evolutionists will tell you are wrong.
Most new Christians try to "wrap" what they know about evolution around the creation story when they are first saved. If they never do anymore research on the subject, that is where they stick.
But the more studying of the Word and of the evolution itself you do, the more you come to the realization that evolution is factless theory that is direct conflict with God.

If our belief in God and in the Bible is at odds with proven science, we are nothing but voodoo believers. Our belief system and our understanding of God's universe has to be flexible enough to accommodate other objective truths. We also need the faith to appreciate that objective scientific understanding changes as new advances come along and that the basic teachings of the Bible are at their essence immutable. Hope that helped.

I don't think evolution is correct, I do think natural selection caused some changes. But there are christians who believe in both and they are still christian. It is through belief & obedience to Jesus we are christians.

Take a look at these two scriptures. We all need to choose one or the other.
2Corinthians 6:14-16
1 Corinthians 10: 21,22
Now you make your choice!

We may have different faces, bone structures, and skin tones but were the same species. When was the last time a monkey ever turned into a human? It just doesn't happen.

My opinion is there is nothing wrong with learning about old stuff, but to kinda fast forward my answer; I am what God wanted me to be today & tomorrow and I am only going to be here a short while so I need to keep my eyes on what is going to get me to Heaven in the future.

You can believe in Jesus and not buy into the Genesis, old testament stuff. I never get it when scientists think up "rational" explanations for parting the red sea. That eye for an eye vs. turn the other cheek, doesn't sound like the same religion to me.
