Going a little farther, he FELL WITH HIS FACE TO THE GROUND AND PRAYED, "My Father, if it is possible, MAY THIS CUP be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."

The commandments clearly speak against things that are not right. We know that by our own conscience. So, we are all guilty and in need of God's grace.
And to just say God does not exist is silly, because that implies that everything is an accident. And evolutionary theory is woefully inadequate because a closer examination of things is now possible with our technology revealing unspeakable complexities. And, your biased college professers forgot to tell you that there are highly respected scientists who are NOT typical proponents of darwinism. Because they recognize that there are serious problems with it.

I have been in several different types of churches but can't seem to find one that fits me and my beliefs. I'm looking for any suggestions.

I believe that salvation comes through Jesus Christ, through faith. I believe that water baptism is an outward expression of the inward belief and do not believe that a person is saved by being baptized. I believe in infant dedication, but not infant baptism.

I believe in the Bible, but find modern interpretations to be more accurate than previous teachings.

I have very strong pro-life beliefs and believe that abortion takes the life of an innocent human being. I think women need better resources and education in order to prevent pregnancy and to make a living for themselves and their child if they are pregnant.

I have 2 young children that I want to raise in a good Christian church, but don't want them to learn to exclude/hate others.

And finally, I'm a lesbian, so I want a church that accepts me without condemnation.

TY!

First of all, I am not stupid. I believe scientific evidence that we can all see and touch. Man did evolve.

I see this question and I do not know the true correct answer. The question is if man evolved from apes why are there still apes?

I am thinking that there are many species of chimpanzees and maybe it was only one species that eventually evolved? I could be way off.

Please enlighten me.

I had hoped that people understood that I'm only having fun here. It's obvious that the atheists on this site are too stubborn and thick headed to accept the Gospel so why bother? Please the smug coming out of their mouths could kill a cow!
So I'm not judging, just havin a good time! woo hoo!

I just can't believe in the Judeo-Christian God, which I assume (though I plead ignorance here) is the same God as Allah (more or less at least).

But at the same time I can't belive that there isn't a greater force than us.

Basically I'm asking for new versions of what God may be.
