What do you do when something challenges your faith? Do you back down and resort to what you have always thought...do you press on to find out more...ask more and new questions...demand more answers...do you settle for what you have been taught growing up or do you hold on to your own faiths?

I am talking general...not necessarily spiritual or about religion..but if you want to take it there...then feel free..

I am just amazed how many people loose faith in what they believe whenever they are faced with great atrocities. Their faith lacked firmness or did it need to get shaken up to deepen it?

A. Jesus died for your dirt(rape, murder, steal, cheat, ect.) So, if you murder 1000 innocent people, say you're sorry and really mean it and ask for forgiveness, you can still go to heaven

B. Man has to fix man's problems. This is the only life so we must cherish it. Treat others like you want to be treated.

www.answering-islam.com, this site seems to consist of a bunch of evangelical jealous christian jihadist that half hardidly give advice on how to to counter truth. They cannot answer anything let alone scientifical evidence in the quran. How can they answer a single doubt when they dont know Arabic or dont seek interpretations. instead they make their own interpretations. DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE FOR TRUTH ON ISLAM.

Look at what jesus said in your own bible :
" If you love me, Keep my commandments. And I will pray to the Father and He shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever.
(Bible, John 14-15/16) "
so jesus has nothing to do for us , he can only pray to god (father) for us .
by the way if yu call someone " son " that doesn`t mean that he is your original Son . we are all childs of GOD .
JESUS IS A GREAT MEN , A GREAT PROPHET BUT HE IS NOT SON GOD OR GOD IN THE FORM OF HUMAN BEING ! .

-the bible is real and so is creationism
the bible has predicted many events that has happened and given true prophecies and some that are waiting to come true, like the end of the worlds(for example)

and every time you talk to god, he listens, and you know, it's a feeling inside, try doing it

-god bless

Athiest Encyclopedia Definition: denial of the existence of God or gods and of any supernatural existence.

Many of the answers I got to my post seem contrary to what athiests are purported to believe.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=A9FJu8pkIntFuBAAFxfsy6IX?qid=20061208094603AAtKH5G

What do athiests believe? Why discuss religion and spirituality at all? You don't believe in either unless you're not a true athiest. If there truly is no God why address religion?

One athiest said because he is "spiritual." Spiritual means:
"Of, from, or relating to God; deific.
Of or belonging to a church or religion; sacred."
So, that response made no sense to me. How can true athiests be "spiritual?" You don't believe in God, Satan, Heaven, Hell or an afterlife.

Another said he was seeking physical proof of God or Jesus. If God doesn't exist and you are firm in that belief why are you searching for proof?

An acquaintance of mine went to a Baptist meeting two weeks ago, and this idea had people all excited. Come up and kneel at the preacher's altar and do a special incantation...

What's all this about? Jesus said: "Not so fast; he that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved."

Anybody want to shed some light on this spontaneous salvation thing?
