Personally, I research it, seek out answers, and generally find them. In seeking something that is opinion based, instead of fact based, after researching both sides, I will search myself. What feels right, what works more for me in my personal life.
For me, my research into questions, and diffrences has not only reaffirmed my faith, it has made it stronger, and caused me to no longer be a follower of what I was taught, because in some instances what I was taught came to seem false or inaccurate to me. I feel as if I am a better person for it.
Cheers, thanks for the opportunity. Great question.

I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe the Holy Bible is the Word of God and I believe it is 100% truth.
To debate what one believes is good. When there are not absolutes, that is where faith comes in.
I can only tell you this...I know what asking for forgiveness, forgiving others and following the teachings of Jesus Christ has done in my life. I have a peace and comfort I had never known.
I have peace in knowing who my savior is and no matter what valley's I will go through in life, He has taken my hand and will walk with me.
I have gone through some valley's since becoming "born again." I really don't know what I would have done or how I would have handled them without my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. My faith has strengthened because of the valley's.
To grow closer to Jesus, I read my Bible daily and pray without ceasing. I ask questions and I seek answers. My faith grows stronger every day and every day I need Jesus more.
I know the path I was traveling before my walk with Jesus...and there's been a 180. I am blessed and truly thankful.
My goal, in the end is to hear my Creator say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." If I am wrong (and I have no doubts, I am on the right path)...I have still lived a better life by loving people, caring about others and following what I believe is true (Father, Son and Holy Spirit.)
I am sold out for Jesus!

No one HERE was there THEN... and so NONE of it can be proven one way or the other! However, faith is the belief in something as truth that cannot be PROVEN as truth.. and I have faith in God and His plan for my life and this world and planet. I am associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, and there are probably no people on earth who are challenged more for their beliefs that us! :) Did you know that during the Holocaust, Hitler imprisoned many Jehovah's Witnesses in the camps because of their refusal to say "heil Hitler"? All they had to do was say those words and they would have been released from the camps. Most chose to remain faithful to Jehovah rather than cave. What makes one person stick to their guns with their beliefs, and another back down? Inner strength. Continuity and consistency of education about your religion is absolutely necessary. You cannot defend what you do not know. Fear may cause one person to feel that this life is more important than ultimately pleasing God, or fear for the lives of our children, or mate, or parent. In that case, the education is essential! If you understand the truths about your religion, then you have the structure of faith that can support you in times of stress and adversity. If you don't have the strong background, then you will not have the wherewithal to defend what you believe!

When it comes to faith you have to have something that stands as the standard to evaluate what is seen as a challenge. Many people choose diferent things as that standard (the Bible, Koran, etc.). Also for someone to say there is no absolute is in itself an Absolute.

Nothing can shake my faith at all. I put my life and soul on the fact that Jesus and God is real. The Bible is the truth and Jesus loves the whole world believers and non-believers and he is doing all in his power without violating our free will to save each of us.

You can only make sense of the world by what you see and what you think. If you suddenly see something new: the loss of a loved one, the loss of thousands in a tragedy, you sometimes need to reevaluate what you believe.
Maybe their faith was based on nothing and they realized it finally.

Find out the motive first, if they want to learn (about the bible) then I answer backed up by the Bible.
If they only try to debate I just stop answering coz it will go nowhere, the other person's eyes and ears are closed.

That is why Jesus said "He that endures to the end the same shall be saved". "Many are called but few are chosen".
